The Vinaya Boutique Hotel

This was our favorite stay in Bali and we were very sad to leave. Everything was amazing, super clean, the owner is amazing as well, helping with everything you need. Breakfast was a dream, very tasty and it was prepared by the owner. The rooms are big, clean bedsheets, big bathroom, nice kitchen as well. From the window one can see the rice fields as well. Location is very good, not so far from the center, but in the same time in a quiet area. The terrace where you can serve the breakfast is very nice. Everything was perfect!

Staying at Vinaya Boutique Hotel was a delight! It truly felt like home with its cozy, welcoming atmosphere. The healthy and tasty breakfasts were a perfect start to each day. The room was very clean, bed and pillows are comfortable, the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive.

Do you know that feeling when you're hesitant to leave a review because a place is so good you want to keep it a secret? Yep, this is exactly it. I read reviews a lot, so this one is dedicated to people like me who appreciate every detail. When I came to Bali, I was looking for a long-term stay: an extra clean place with good design, no roosters, monkeys, or insects. A place with healthy food, a calm location, and an ambient atmosphere. I also needed my own kitchen, a spacious covered shower, and reliable internet for my digital nomad lifestyle. To my amazement, Vinaya Boutique Hotel covered all of this. Well, there is way more: - Daily cleaning with eco-friendly materials - Super-healthy breakfasts - Dedicated Wi-Fi in each room - Cozy rooms with good lighting and beautiful plants - A quiet and ambient environment - Attentive and communicative owners - High-end laundry service, perfect for sensitive clothes (I had a lot of linen shirts) - A bit of Japanese culture, which I personally love, thanks to the founders ❤️‍? The founders of this place have an immense passion for their business and customers, which is incredibly rare to see. Vinaya isn’t just a business; As the owner told me, Vinaya means guidance, and that’s another great thing I’ve found here. It might not be the case for everyone, and no one was pushing me, but initially, I came to Bali to find these. Vinaya did it for me. I love this place. The room design is very beautiful, spacious and elegant. There’s a beautiful kitchen within the room that would make you want to cook all your small meals and brew your coffee every day there. The bathroom is spacious and has a very nice interior as well. You will find a lot of beautiful plants in the room and very spacious cabinet. Also, a net for the window to enjoy the fresh air without having any insects entering your room. The level of cleanliness is the best compared to many other ubud hotels. There’s a lot of care to the details from the soap bars the eco friendly toothpaste and brush and the natural washing of the linens. This is amazing level of care!! I loved the picks for the mini bar all chosen with care gluten free and healthy grocery. Gave me so much joy to see all the clean organizing of the stuff in the kitchen it just shows the level of consideration and care of the host. The welcoming and checking in was warming and very kind, it felt like i was visiting a family member. The host has an advanced level of management and communication skills and she’s very kind sweet and responsive. It feels very comforting to be staying under her amazing management. The host is well knowledgeable of health and healthy eating also Chinese herbalism so I had the best breakfast ever here in bali. Has home cooking taste and energy but at the same time very precisely done with a Japanese twist. ?????? The entire hotel design and the interior is very beautiful and cozy. This is all i personally target in my stay this level of care cleanliness and elegance. Definitely my place to stay every time am coming to ubud.

I recently stayed at a wonderful hotel in Ubud, Bali, and was truly captivated by the location and the stunning views of the rice fields. The excellent Japanese cuisine offered was a delightful surprise, and the rooms were superbly equipped, with stylish teak wood furniture that made me feel right at home. The hospitality was exceptional, and they arranged a fantastic private driver who showed us around Ubud and its surroundings. The experience was like waking up to the gentle chirping of birds, filling each day with a sense of peace and joy.

The hotel is located at a very peaceful and quiet location. I loved the nature and tranquillity of this place. Our rooms were cleaned daily. The staff are really friendly and welcoming, check in was really smooth and fast given the fact that we arrived at 1am. My sincere gratitude to Fivi, our hostess who checked in on us throughout our stay and helped us when needed?. She is such an amazing lady. I would recommend it to anyone coming to Bali to stay in this hotel, you will love it and for me, I will definitely be coming back. ❤️❤️ N/A

Everything was wonderful. The design of the hotel is very beautiful, a lot of attention was paid to details. Our room had natural supplies, several glass bottles of water, bamboo toothbrushes and other items. There is Internet in every area of the hotel, the speed was excellent. The hotel owner and staff were very helpful and friendly. The view from the window was straight onto the rice terraces, simply magnificent. We were very pleased with our stay here. -

This place is definitely designed a with a sense of style and quality in mind. Perfect for the traveller looking for comfort and an appreciation of the little details being so thoughtfully taken into consideration. Wish we could've stayed longer to really enjoy the place but we were on a tight schedule with other commitments taking priority. We will be back though.

We had a wonderful stay and loved everything. The room is well equipped and spotless clean! The rice field view from the room is beautiful and the communal areas are great with really nice views. The hotel is located in a nice and quiet neighbourhood but still close to ubud center. The owner does everything to have a low impact on the environment. Quality and plastic free bathroom amenities. Great and delicious choice of local products in the minibar. Finally, the staff and the owner are amazing , we had some great chats. The owner is full of light and does everything to ensure you have a wonderful stay. We felt home away from home (… if home had great rice fields and greenery around us). Nothing, everything was perfect.

I STAYED IN THIS HOTEL FOR 2 NIGHTS. I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND IT. IT IS A VERY QUALITY PLACE AND THE STAFF AND THE HOTEL MANAGER WERE VERY CARED. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE BREAKFAST

Really clean rooms and facilities as well as lovely staff in a calm area of Ubud

We heard birds chirping and we saw dragonflies passing by. It was a real Ubud vibe! I love this place for its natural atmosphere. We even had cute alive plants in our room!! So green!! The modern design of the entire property was wonderful. It's designed with lots of teakwood and stone ornaments and furnished with lots of teakwood inside. We felt like we were brought real close to nature. We gave many thumbs up for their commitment to minimize the use of chemical in cleaning products. Also, bed sheets and towels were clean with no parfumy smell too. We could tell that they use very natural detergent to wash them. It blew our mind. We were sound asleep like babies. We definitely come back again! By the way, the lounge was fabulous! Plus, it's quite easy to find. It's just around 45 minutes drive from airport and it's convenient to get by. We didn't need to get trapped in busy traffic of Ubud center. It was so great!! It's really recommended!

Review 1: It's definitely a perfect place for you who love natural and healthy lifestyle. We were so happy to stay in this eco-friendly boutique hotel. We were pampered with a homey and relaxing ambience. The breakfast was another amazing part of staying at The Vinaya. I had freshly- made green juice and my friend had orange turmeric juice. Their homemade gluten-free cake was very great. All of them tasted fresh, natural and pure. We could tell they all had no unnatural ingredients. We really enjoyed our breakfast. Also, the minibar was all homemade iced-coffee, tea, charcoal-filtered drinking water. We were amazed that we didn't see any plastic bottles in the mini bar. Plus, they provided gluten-free cookies! Their kitchenette is cute, and it has cooking and eating utensils. Oh my, we really wanted to stay there forever and ever.
