Massage was exceptional! Not just great - exceptional. And we know good massages! And the view!!! Fenomenal!

Nothing.

The staff was so kind and helpful, the views spectacular, and the chef made excellent food. The spa was the most magical location above the river and the massages were great. We liked taking a walk from the property through rice fields nearby. We would love to come back.

We stayed in the Monkey Throne Room, and it was absolutely beautiful. The views were stunning, and the double doors opened wide to let in plenty of natural light and fresh air. It truly felt like we were immersed in nature. Breakfast each morning was exceptional, with a variety of smoothies and drinks everyday. We especially loved the shakshuka bowls for breakfast. The traditional Balinese massage was incredible, made even more special by the soothing sound of the nearby river. Something you just don’t experience in a typical city spa. The property itself is wonderfully serene. A special shoutout to Dewa, our driver Gita, and the entire team for making our stay so memorable. We had an exceptional experience. Be ready to face all kinds of bugs, creatures and wildlife. This property is NOT A RESORT or a traditional hotel. It is "your BALI HOME." We saw frogs, birds, colourful snails and the occasional small (harmless) snake. The team were very accomodating though and came to assist us at all times. Staying in the jungle comes with obvious challenges but that did not dampen our enjoyment at the villa at all :)

The style of the property is unique. The location, overseeing a river and wonderful vegetation offers an immersion to nature while still being close to Ubud center. The premises are decorated in an authentic style with Balinese artwork in every piece. The food was of excellent quality all the time from breakfast to dinner and prices correct. The host is very welcoming and very knowledgeable offering very useful tips about what to do and see. All staff are very friendly and helpful. As the property is built in various levels, it has a lot of stairs, some steep. Sometimes this can be overwhelming. The swimming pools are deep.
-
Steps, but overall you get use to it.
-
The mattress will need to be replaced soon
-
Barely anything. The place covers a lot of vertical space, so expect stairs. Like most of Bali, Ubud has lots of cars and scooters and an inadequate road network, so also expect spending time in traffic.
-
Excellent sercive, and very good hospitality. Relax and chill out with the River view.

The location, so near the forest & nature! The staff were all so kind & helpful! The food was fresh & exceptional! Our driver to & from the airport was also our tour guide for seeing some great sights, Githa was super friendly and so helpful too! The pools were clean, well maintained but, not full of chemicals. The massages were fantastic too! The only challenge was the steep stairs. I have a few knee issues and we stayed in the waterfall room, the bottom of the property, it was doable but, if we went back I would request a level or two up!

Breathtaking views overlooking to a canyon and the jungle—and hardly any bugs! The owner and staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, assisting with our day trips by organising cars, motorbikes, and recommending places to visit. The breakfast was delicious - a perfect start to each day. There were quite a lot of steep steps to our room—but we were aware of that beforehand.
-
The view is spectacular! The breakfast is amazing. You’ll want to eat there every morning for sure. And they’re so helpful on all information/getting drivers/refilling waters and anything else you need! Book here and you won’t regret it.

Breakfast was amazing. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Driver Githa was the best and really looked after us. Very grateful to have stayed at Villa Kalisat.

This was the most beautiful property we stayed at in Bali. The views are beyond words, the rooms are so nice, and the staff is exceptional. It really doesn't get better than this! I will definitely be staying at Villa Kalisat in the future! The road up to the property is quite bad (potholes large enough to total a car) and we discovered that not all Gojek drivers are willing to make the journey. No fault of the property, but something to be aware of.

The staff are all very vice! Amazing views and delicious breakfast! Shower didn’t drain so well

Hotel manager Deva was so nice and cared much about all of our needs. He even organized lots of activities that we enjoyed as a family. All of the hotel staff were very thoughtful. The view was incredibly good. Rooms were clean. Even some monkeys visited our balcony in the early morning. Amazing stay for nature lovers. The breakfast was good. I will definitely recommend this hotel to embrace the beauties of Ubud. Some rooms may not be comfortable for people with knee problems since the hotel has steep steps.

The location is genuinely stunning. The photos are great but don't do it justice. Having breakfast with that view, spotting monkeys in the valley is a special experience. The walk down to the stream is well worth it. Only 15 mins taxi into Ubud central and we were glad to be away from Ubud central. Well placed to get an early taxi to Trita Empul (water Palace) before the crowds arrive. Beds were comfortable. Staff very friendly and accommodating.
