The location is very good, there are many restaurants nearby, I liked that it was quiet, it is close to things to see in Ubud. The service staff is very friendly. The place is spacious, my kids loved the pool. Breakfast was good. Sometimes monkeys come, if you are empty-handed, don't try to chase them away, they won't be afraid, on the contrary, you will be afraid. The whole facility is old and needs a major renovation. Some of the bath towels were very old and faded. The water heater was rusted.

Excellent breakfast, complimentary taxi to the monkey forest and afternoon tea and cake a nice service. The deluxe garden villa is traditional and very beautiful. We visited the pool which is gorgeous and I treated myself to a massage in the lovely and convenient spa next to the pool. A few little restaurants a short walk away we recommend Lake Leke fabulous food and fortunate to call in when they had a Balanise dance performance. Nothing to dislike

This is a very lovely place and my room was on a whole section of the Upper Floor where I had an outside patio that wrapped around with daybeds and table and chairs. Inside the room was a lovely big clean bed and a large window looking out on the Lush Garden. The bathroom also had a garden View. I love a bathroom with a window. There is a free shuttle to take you into the center of Ubud and pick you back up because this hotel is a bound a mile away from the center but the street that it's located on is Lush and beautiful. I really liked everything about this place. They made nice pineapple juice for me. But when you go to the pool which is also really lovely and set in a colorful Garden, just be careful if the monkeys show up. They're going to want your water, your drink, and anything in your bag

Phantastic location, wonderful hotel with green everywhere

Beautiful and unique! You are in nature and it is wonderful. Plus a great location for dining, monkey sanctuary and getting to other activities in Ubud.

Quiet, beautiful, drawn in the nature

We had 2 large rooms for us & 4 kids, and it turned out to be a magnificent house with a room per level. The hotel is a hidden gem. We could get our breakfast and dinner served on our private deck. Staff was absolutely adorable and always here to help. The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle to the center of Ubud Hot water tank rather limited. So the end of the day shower may turn pretty fresh.

Beautiful serene location with ponds full of lotuses, fish. peaceful. Very kind staff who entertained our 2.5 year old boy. shuttle to Ubud. Good food options just a few minutes walk away. Close to the monkey forest - we had a couple of visitors we enjoyed. mosquitoes! but not sure if it could have been helped. We were provided plug-ins to coil outside the door.

Superb location close to jungle and river, easy walk to yoga studios and cafes. Pool near Yamuna room, was quiet and only shared with one other room which was mostly empty during our stay.

Alam Shanti is lovely, serene, and safe. They have made me feel so welcome. It’s a bit of a commute to Ubud downtown, but that’s a good thing.

Beautiful—-stunning gardens, generous size room, palatial bathroom with a Koi pond, sizable breakfast with lots of choices, amazing staff a wonderful price for so many amenities. I’m coming back in October and will definitely stay here again.? Nothing. I would not change a thing.
