The owner's family is wonderful and always greeted me with a smile. They helped to call taxi for me every time because I couldn't use the app. And they arranged the most front seat of Kecak dance at the Palace for me, that's great surprise! The room is clean, and I love the ceiling fan there! the garden is beautiful as well. I will be back . everything is great memory! Terima kasih!

After a disappointing experience at another hotel, we found this homestay and were relieved that it exceeded our expectations. In Ubud, it can be challenging to identify good accommodations based on photos, but fortunately, this one was very good. The host was incredibly kind, energetic, helpful, polite, and hospitable. The room was spotless, and both the AC and fan worked perfectly. The bathroom facilities were good, and the bathroom itself was very clean. The room was cozy and offered a lovely view of the garden, and the bed was comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped, allowing us to cook for ourselves, and free drinking water was provided at all times. The location was good, and the host rented us a good motorbike at a reasonable price, making it easy to explore various places. Overall, we didn't encounter any negative points during our stay.

We booked here last minute due to the hotel we was originally staying in in Ubud was awful. We was so pleased to be welcomed so warmly by the hosts family. The room was very clean and cleaned each day. Air con and fan was great room was always cool. Big spacious rooms and bathrooms. Location was great not far from the centre at all and walking distance to convenience stores and cafe etc. would recommended staying here if you are on a budget and wished we booked here from the start! Wish the communal kitchen area was a little cleaner but nothing crazy.

The property was so beautiful, very clean and offered a lot of privacy. The family are extremely accommodating and always happy to help. The location was slightly off the Main Street which some people may prefer. About a 20-25 minute walk from the middle of Ubud but easy enough to book a GoJek/Grab. Location was a little hard to find if you don’t see the location name on the rock outside which could be easily missed.

The owner seemed really friendly at first however on one of our free days he advised us to go do the ATV, he even offered to take us for cheap there and back (ended up being more than if we took taxis). He took us to a location which ended up charging us more than double the normal rate for ATV rides as well as pushed us to go to go to a coffee and tea place with priced up items. In addition, the bathroom had mold everywhere and the bedsheets had multiple stains on them.

mouldy, shabby (both neighbourhood and property)

Host was very friendly. Room had a lot of natural light. Place is located in a less busy area of Ubud in the back of the compound, so it's quite quiet. Nice garden. Unfortunately, bathroom and kitchen were very dirty. Bathroom had a mold growing out of the wall, you could smell the wet moldy air which wasn't comfortable. All other reviews say otherwise, so maybe all other rooms are fine and we were unlucky. Also, the soundproofing is quite bad, you could hear other guests conversations even with doors and windows closed. Something to keep in mind if you care about privacy. I honestly don't think this room should be rented out, but we were rushing with other plans and only there for 2 nights, so pushed through.

The room was not cleaned properly after the previous guests, only the bed sheets were changed but the kitchen area, floors and bathroom needed attention.. There was no kettle for heating water.

They were so nice and big homestay. Location was good I saw ants on my bed sometimes. And bathroom’s roof open. It was bright but so many mosquitos

Just an absolute perfect stay. Everything as described with the rooms being very clean and spacious. The hosts (family) are so so friendly and helped with any request we had. A truly amazing stay thank you so much.

Ary and his family are really kind people. You can turn to them with any kind of issues/questions/needs, they will definitely help you. The room was very clean, the AC and the Wifi worked properely. There was a daily cleaning in the rooms. It was a good decision to book a room at their place. I would absolutely recommend it! Nothing to complain about, maybe a small fridge would have been nice.

The owner, Ary, is absolutely amazing and keen on helping you with every question or request you could have. The place is very quiet and peaceful and you literally feel like you are in the middle of a jungle while there. Not a problem for me personally, but if you are a really private person, consider the following: it truly is a homestay and you will be walking through Ary and his family's living space (although outside of course) when getting to your room. However, I guarantee you that they are the nicest people and interacting with them will most likely just add to your experience!

The hosts have a great understanding of hospitality. They’re so friendly and are open when it comes to telling you something about Bali and the culture. Also there was a lot of greenery around the house and little spaces to chill outdoors which I really really liked. The room is quite spacious and they really take care of it during the stay. Also the area outdoors is maintained in a very good way. Water for free is also a huge plus. The area around the house has much more of a village feeling which is quite nice. It’s not as hectic as the centre of Ubud but the center and also the yoga barn are in walking distance. Everything is just a little sidenote, nothing dramatic, that’s why I also didn’t complain about that when I was there: The room was not as bright as I hoped it would be but that was also ok for me in this case. The bathroom could get a little fresh up but I do understand that this is also a bit of a tricky area (a bit open on top + climate in Bali in general). So to maintain that is probably not easy at all. And they don’t serve any breakfast. That wasn’t super clear when I did the booking as there was written one could book that on location. If you need to have that with your apartment it might not be for you but there are also a lot of cafes in a 15-20 min walk. Altogether I still absolutely recommend it and would definitely come back.

Super clean and good location, with the very caring Ary's family (when you say "Salamat pagi" you will find nobody else as happy as Wayan the grandpa) Ary invited me to a local ceremony, and dressed me with his clothes, lot of gratitude, thanks a lot !
