Juwuk Manis

At first, we were shocked about the location as it is really a scooter only lane. But as the hotel is located right in the middle of the rice field, it was incredible and magical to see thousands of fireflies at night right in front of your eyes. I like them all actually. Nothing to complain about.

Second time at juwuk Manis within a month. Love love love this place. It's a little bit difficult to get to but that is why this place is such a hidden gem. Amazing scenery around, the rooms are excellent with a fridge, kettle and TV. Probably the best value for money on our entire 3 month trip.

We loved it so much we extended our stay for a full week. Incredible value for money. Amazing location really set back from the busyness of Ubud in beautiful rice fields. The room was huge with a fantastic balcony and a fridge and kettle. The breakfast was also great and the staff very friendly. Just be prepared that no cars can access this hotel so you'll either need to organise pick up with the hotel or rent a scooter from Shanti Scooter rentals at the bottom of the hill (they were excellent)

The location was amazing as long as you don’t mind walking a bit or hiring a motorbike. The hotel is situated in the middle of rice paddies and the road is only accessible with a motorbike or on foot. The center of Ubud is only 15min away walking. Very tranquil and beautiful. Breakfast could be better.

What an unbelievable stay, it exceeded my expectations especially for the price! Our room was huge and the bed was so comfortable. The property is about a 10/15 minute walk out from the shops but outside of the chaos of central ubud this place is a peaceful oasis overlooking a rice field. Mornings here are so quiet and peaceful I loved walking around the neighborhood in the morning, a simple breakfast is included in the price where you order off a menu. The staff was kind enough to pick up our bags from town when we arrived and drive us up the hill to the hotel, as well as drop us into town when we needed on the back of the bike. I cannot wait to come back to this magical place again

Not that we didn’t like it but be aware of the rice fields and farmers working their machines in the early morning, also it’s a bit out of the main attractions and you can’t drive to the hotel, only way in and out either by walking which is pretty far imo especially if you walk all day long and already tired. We rented a motorbike that was a no Issue for us but if you don’t have experience riding a motorbike then you shouldn’t rent one because it can get pretty dangerous.

But because it's remote, you need to walk a lot to the main street. Ehich was fine by me Staff's English skills are a bit lacking.

The property is situated in the middle of rice paddy fields. It is the perfect location to get away from the bustle of Ubud, and enjoy nature. Very clean and comfortable rooms, AC, breakfast included, overall very pleasant stay.
