Yes, i didnt like the service, room was unclean, floors were sticky.

My friend Claire and I stayed at this place and love everything about it! We had a private pool, a projector in our room, and even a bath tub outside that could be used as a hot tub. The staff made us feel so welcomed and they were so helpful with anything we needed! They also have a partnership with jungle club so we got free access to that which was amazing! They have a great driver called Dewa that made our excursions seamless and perfect providing water and taking pictures and explaining the culture. I will miss this place very much! Until we meet again ❤️ oh almost forgot the foooooood for the free breakfast is amazing! I will miss the poached holidainse eggs!

We had a mixed experience at Kaamala. We arrived a bit early and our room wasn't ready yet so we headed to the restaurant to grab something while waiting for the room. This is when we found out there's a massive renovation at the hotel premises, right next to the restaurant. The scenery would've been picture perfect, but we couldn't really focus on that as the renovation is loud. This is exactly the kind of place you come to escape such sounds, not eat to the beat of hammering and angle grinding. Once we finished eating our room was ready and someone took us there. Another disappointment struck as the room was right next to the restaurant and the renovation. The room itself was nice, but we could easily hear the renovation sounds in our room. They start early and continue late. There were people at the site after dark and we woke up to some hammering at 8 in the morning. But after this comes the positive. The staff is super attentive and friendly. They handled the situation as well as you can. The next day they moved us to a new upgraded room for free, closer to the reception and away from the renovation sounds. After that we didn't hear a thing anymore. They also agreed to deliver the breakfast as room service for free because we really didn't want to go back to the restaurant anymore. After this our stay was perfect. Overall the staff was incredible and helped in any and all ways possible. I think the owners/management should consider being more open and transparent regarding the renovation. Maybe offer discounted prices or temporarily close the rooms close to the renovation until it's over. Expectation management goes a long way in these matters. So if you're going I recommend you ask beforehand if the renovation is over or not. The renovation. Everything else was ?

The staff is very kind

The location was excellent. The room was beautiful, one of best I’ve ever stayed at. The staff were exceptionally nice. The food was top notch. Nothing. Everything was perfect!

Amazing

First of all the Staff. Great & kind people always greet you and make you feel special. The quality and cleanliness of the room, it had an amazing view and very well kept pool. We had breakfast at the restaurant and our room, both great experiences

It's not a bad location to walk into town, if you rely on grab a lot (as we did with my elderly mom) it's not the best spot due to one way traffic in some roads. Just a heads up for the villas - it wasn't very clear on the photos but the shower only has a glass door into the room, if you're not travelling with a partner it doesn't offer much privacy when showering (not a big issue but FYI). It was good, but of all the places I've stayed in Bali I'd stay I've had better stays for the price.

The location was great if you want to be super central to Ubud. You can walk just about anywhere which is great. The japanese restaurant was lovely and the staff were helpful. There was no communication on booking about the construction going on at the resort. This was disappointing as it impacted the pool area. There was also a lot of interupption to the wifi service. It did not work by the pool, and would drop in and out in your room. We also note that there was a rodent at the breakfast restaurant one morning which was concerning. The pool beds are tired and dirty and could do with a re vamp. The towels throughout the resort also need an upgrade.

Breakfast was great as were the dinners. From the Habitat Bistro, the view of the jungle across the infinity pool is fantastic. Room was very comfortable and we liked the spa tub in the room (looking out the balcony into the jungle). The staff were gracious, kind, and efficient. Some people come here for the monkeys, as this is close to the Sacred Monkey Forest and there are many monkeys in the adjacent jungle. They are entertaining and frolicked around our balcony. We were a little worried about some of them being aggressive so we just kept our distance. Honestly, the monkeys were both a plus (really interesting) and a minus (a little scary)!

I love stay here at Kamala , absolutely we will come back for sure , thank you for Ayu, Lia for having us

overall property was amazing... Excellent location, very kind staff specially Ayu was very helpful in the checkout process.... highly recommended nothing
