Umah Anila

The hostess was amazingly warm and kind and the others were friendly. Waking up to incense and sitting eating delicious breakfast by the Koi fish was so lovely and peaceful Nothing. No complaints

During my visit to Ubud, I stayed in four different accommodations. Umah Anila was the only one that was dry and mold-free. ? My room was small but comfortable. Noise can be a an issue here as the rooms are close together and share a common balcony.

My room was a bit run down. It could use some renovations for sure. Also, make sure you have the right electronics adapter if you stay here or you may have to run into town and get one like I did. Something I didn't mind it but some might say it's a little far from the main stretch in Ubud. Lastly, I'd say it was a bit overpriced.

I loved my stay here. The most lovely hosts. Very clean room with a charming balcony where I enjoyed coffee every morning. Great location in the heart of Ubud yet very peaceful and quiet. Highly recommend! Nothing I didn’t like :)

Everything!! It was an amazing stay, and we loved the location, we walked everywhere, there was no way to get lost the people are all nice and the family where we stayed was very friendly and helpful, they give you your space but if you need anything they are just a WhatsApp msg away. They have a small little tuck shop on the bottom to buy something to drink or eat. The beds are the most comfortable beds that we slept in in our entire 10days trip! I did not book with the breakfast, so cannot say anything about the breakfast but every morning when we wake up there was a flask outside our door with hot water for tea and coffee, there was no milk but when asked they will bring it to you, this was very sweet! It was not the most beautiful place, but we felt like family, and it was more than enough for us, as we were out most of the day for shopping and exploring! We did not need anything more than a very well looked after, comfortable, clean and safe space to sleep! They change the bedding every day and we felt so bad for all that washing, a suggestion will be to change the bedding every 2 or 3 days to safe some work for themselves, but it was good and so comfortable to come home to a clean room! The location is great and walking distance from basically everything! We will definitely be back to stay here again!! We might want 2 towels in the room instead of one. And maybe a bottle of drinking water "free" in the room, a small fridge to put some stuff in and as a lady a full-length mirror :-) Other than that everything was perfect!!

The owners are nice people. They would bring coffee and tea every morning. I stayed for 4 nights and I had only 1 towel and it was never replaced. Its ok. Not important

I had an amazing stay at Umah Anila, and it went beyond all my expectations! I’ve stayed in many places before, but this one is by far the best. The hosts are such a kind, friendly family who made me feel at home right away. They are always there to help, support and give any recommendations or guidance around Bali. I’m so thankful for their warmth and care. The location is great—central, but quiet, and is super accessible by car or scooter. There are lots of shops, restaurants, and a big supermarket just a 1-2-minute walk away. I loved how everything was within walking distance, which made my time in Ubud even more enjoyable. The breakfast is delicious, simple, and full of vitamins. The rooms are fresh and clean, the bed is really comfortable, and the WiFi works perfectly. There is a very nice view during sunset and sunrise, literally from the room ? I highly recommend Umah Anila! It will always be my top choice whenever I visit Ubud again. Thank you so much for making my stay so special! I liked everything ?

Excellent location to YogaBarn yet very quiete. Lovely family running it so accommodating and friendly. I recommend to request room 5 is the best corner room on the upper floor with lots of light and rooms 6 and 7 are also great with fantastic views. It’s not really something negative but would be amazing if there was tiny fridge in the room as everything gets spoiled so quickly in hot weather including fruits.

excellent location for those who want to be close to yoga barn- 5 minutes walk. off the main street but super quite at night. lovely, especially top floor rooms 5, 6 and 7 with beautiful views of ubud. cleaned daily and lovely hosts. nice breakfast options. good size room. hot shower works well. super value for money. everything was perfect. It would have been nice with small fridge inside the room, but it is not a big deal.

The location is perfect! So close to main attractions in Ubud Center, walking distance from coco supermarket, restaurants and monkey forest. Very secure area, even at night in a dark isle. I am a solo traveler and felt secure all the time. The room is basic, good bed, hot water and air conditioning works great. The room has a lock that it is very trickey to manuver, the room is basic, and does not have air conditioning in the bathroom, there is a small window (hot air enters that way) if you leave the door open the room feels humid and clothes smell bad. Towels did not smell good. Shampoo and liquid soap for hands is provide. No hair dryer or extra towel. No mini fridge.

Cute simple place. Very nice family who owns it. It's basic with your basic needs, nothing fancy. Close to monkey forest & walkable to the main street in ubud. It has a small mini mart attached to it, very convenient. Hot water & ac worked well. Wish they had a small refrigerator & more towels

Staff very helpful and kind. They helped set up taxi transfers and helped us get ferry tickets. Breakfast very good. Clean, comfortable and big bed. AC worked well to cool the room. Establishment is family run which creates a lovely home-y environment. Walking distance to many sites including the monkey forest, restaurants, shops, and spas. Nice balcony to have breakfast on. No designated shower area in bathroom so most of bathroom got wet during showers. Bathroom was dry by morning though

The host, they made my stay unforgettable and I was sad to leave them :) The room is basic but you have a nice balcony to take your breakfast every morning. The location is perfect because you can walk to everything! Nothing

The location is nice and central, a good base for exploring ubud for the first time. Also, the hosts are very friendly and genuine people. If you request them, they will help you with anything. The view from outside the room is very cosy :) especially in the morning with lovely animal sounds and fresh bali coffee. Even though the hosts are very friendly, I didn’t feel like the property is worth the 9/10 rating I saw on booking and the price I paid is too high compared to other options I discovered after reaching. During my 5 night stay I got housekeeping just once, and only one towel change that I had to ask for myself by climbing down two flights of stairs. There wasn’t much proactive thought put into keeping my room clean through the stay. This was frankly a bit disappointing, but perhaps I could have asked for it myself and then they would have obliged. Also, the room isn’t proofed from the outdoors so lizards do enter the room and make loud noises at night so please be prepared for that.

The location is very good, close to center, but not along the street , so very quiet in the evening. The breakfast was very tasty. Just the Wifi connection is slow. If you do remote work, maybe better to find a café
