A great place with lots of opportunity to meet new people. I felt safe and throughly enjoyed my first solo hostel experience. There were plenty of activities avalible to book which collaborated with the sister hostels and lots of free activities like yoga, film night, massage and family dinner. Breakfast was delicious, I often upgraded which is definately worth it and every juice was great. The restaurant food was also tasty especially the pesto pasta. Cleanliness was impecible and staff were all freindly and helpful. The room itself is a good size with built-in beds that had alot of privacy. The lockable storage was huge with a large suitcase that fit easily. The shower, toilet and sink were all seperated which I thought was perfect when sharing with 3 other girls. Filtered water was a huge bonus too and my shower was hot and had good pressure. The outside terrace had racks for drying and additional shoe storage. We had a few discounts to the local spa which did a great facial and I would definately reccomend visting if you have time. Loaction was convinent, walking distance to the monkey forest, shops, main road and inside the hostel was very peaceful and quiet. We had an issue with the water supply for half a day and into the night and it would have been nice to have some compensation for the invonvinience. Beds are a little firm and the fan in our room was pretty noisy. There were a number of occasions where we were woken up in the middle of the night by a staff member turning the large light on when showing a new arrival in. If you get a storage locker on the top it's a bit harder to get your suitcase in if it's too heavy. With that being said I would still say none of these points would put me off visting again.

Arya wellness has been a highlight of my travel EVER. It was absolutely beautiful! I've never stayed in a hostel before so we were a bit nervous about it, but it well and truly surpassed our expectations! Highly recommend to anyone especially solo travelers wanting to meet people! Have made some life long friends here I only wish we stayed longer!

I stayed here for one night, and it was such an amazing experience! All of the staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and they answered many of my questions through chat even before my stay. I was also able to book my boat ticket to the Gili Islands directly at the reception, which was very convenient. I also loved the welcome coconut water drink when I arrived. Most importantly, I absolutely loved that the stay included a free 15-minute massage and a manicure! The massage was incredibly good, and my nails turned out so cute — it made me feel amazing. You can sign up for your preferred time slot at reception, and since the slots are first come, first served, I recommend writing your name down early if you already know what time you want. There is also a beautiful pool area with sofas around it, making it the perfect place to relax and chill while enjoying the scenery. On the day I stayed, they offered a Yin Yoga class in the evening, and I joined for about an hour. It was my first time doing yoga, but the instructor was very kind and guided us carefully. Doing yoga poolside under the beautiful night sky felt incredibly peaceful and healing. After that, I joined the family dinner. It costs 100,000 IDR, which is a little expensive compared to local prices, but it was buffet style with many different Indonesian dishes to choose from, and you could get unlimited refills. Everything was delicious — I even went back for seconds twice, haha. The room was also very clean, and I appreciated that the shower room and toilet were separate. There was also a drying rack on the balcony for laundry, which was very useful. Each bed had curtains as well, so privacy was maintained nicely. There was also a morning yoga class, which I joined at 7am, and it made me feel so refreshed and relaxed from the start of the day. After yoga, I had breakfast (you can choose from several options — I ordered the omelet), and it was delicious. Tea and coffee were unlimited too. Compared to other hostels, the price is slightly higher. Also, I ordered an acai bowl from the hostel kitchen, and while it tasted great, it was much more expensive than acai bowls at restaurants in town. Another issue was the boat booking to the Gili Islands. When I booked through the hostel, I was told that the shuttle would leave the hostel around 10:00–10:30am and the boat would depart at 12:00pm, so I expected to arrive at the Gili Island around 2:00pm. It was very convenient that the shuttle picked me up directly in front of the hostel, but the shuttle spent a long time driving around Ubud, stopping at many different hotels to pick up more passengers. We kept passing the same areas repeatedly, and by the time we finally arrived at the harbor, it was already 12:30pm. Then the boat staff told us that the boat would actually depart at 2:00pm, which was clearly different from the explanation I had received at the hostel. Because of this delay, we arrived at the Gili Island much later in the evening than expected. I hope the hostel and the boat company can communicate more clearly with each other regarding the actual schedule.

The staff were absolutely amazing!

The property feels relaxing and inviting, plus the staff is very diligent with cleaning and it’s far enough from the street to be peaceful but close enough to go out if you want to. Nothing

Perfect oasis for female solo travellers in Ubud

This hostel was not your average hostel! As a girlie in my 30s I couldn’t imagine staying in a hostel, but when I saw all the amenities to this one I couldn’t not try it out. The manis, pedis, and massages, the movie nights and family dinners. All the girls actually hung out like they have been friends for years! The beds are really firm, but I noticed that most places I’ve visited in Asia are like this. I just prefer a marshmallow cloud bed.

It’s just so beautiful and comfy Nothing

I loved the activities that were planned for us and the pool area was great. It’s in a great location in central ubud so we could easily explore. It was a perfect stay.

If you are looking for a safe, fun, rejuvenating stay this one is for you!! I started my trip here - first time solo traveling as a female - I made the most incredible group of friends. I highly recommend doing all the activities the hostel puts on as they are super organized and well curated. The food was fab, breakfast included with great coffee. Food during the day was super affordable and lovely! Free massages and mani/pedis everyday - what’s not to love!! This is not a party hostel, it’s for great girls with good vibes looking for a little retreat from the real world.

This is a clean & comfortable stay but it is too manicured and reeks of corporate wellness. It robs you of your femininity and it's clearly created by a man.

Wonderful setting! warm, inviting, lush greenery, small property. Close to great food, entertainment, culture, and shopping. Monkeys from the forest hangout nearby each morning so beware of leaving anything outdoors lol. This is a lovely place and I highly recommend it! I had a private room with bathroom, upstairs with a balcony. There is no elevator but staff will carry your bags. The exterior of property and entire front building are under repair due to a fire so the curb appeal is lacking and it’s a little hard to find the place. Once you walk down a hallway through to the main entrance it then opens into a lovely courtyard.

Nice to meet people I booked solo room, it was quite pricey considering the fact that it was a hostel- I did not get extra amenities/conaiderstion-none of the staff offered to assist me with luggage gojng up and down the outdoor stairs -the bathroom was dirty and needs to be cleaned and updated immediately - also there is major construction at the front of the building that I was not warned about until a day or two before, and it was so noisy and more importantly all of the debris that made airborned and likely inhaled when entering and exiting the hotel

Considering this was my first dormitory experience, it didn’t feel like a hostel at all. It felt more like a boutique hotel that just happened to have bunk beds. The daily yoga, free breakfast, massages, and manicures/pedicures were simply the icing on the cake. N/a

Everything is amazing. The rooms are very cold because of the A/C . For a sensitive person like me it can be uncomfortable

I LOVED my stay. Traveling to Bali was my first time solo traveling and I was so nervous. I am so relieved that I came to Arya Wellness first. As soon as I arrived I was instantly calmed. The space is incredible, beds are comfy, and food is delicious. The best part though is the staff and other girls. Everyone is so friendly and open its so easy to make friends. There are also tons of activities to choose from that are included so you don't have to stress about planning. Nothing, its been great.
