Cahaya Indah Villas Ubud

Great staff, but the staff was amazing! The villa is a bit far from Ubud center however it made the stay super quiet!

It’s very clean and the facility is in great shape. They said you might meet insects or animals but we didn’t see anything. The view is beautiful. The staff is professional and supportive. The spa is nice and the specialists are expert. We tried the laundry service, it was fast and efficient. Nothing.

We had some complications with the card machine for payment and ended up having to pay cash that we didn't plan for however this is sometimes expected in Bali so it wasn't a train smash

The room! It was exceptional, the room was soooo beautiful and as pictured, the pool was great The work going on next door but it wasn’t bad, didn’t ruin my stay.

Not a lot of amenities available on site. Staff sometimes not seen or accessible. Felt like we were nickel and dimed any opportunity. Any convenience or nicety costs extra.

Everything was absolutely wonderful. The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful. We visited this place at the beginning of our trip to Bali, and we were sad when we departed, as none of the other villas we visited could compare. The bed was too hard.

It was clean and the staff were polite The staff stayed until 7PM so there was no staff after that.

Spacious and beautifully designed villa with a stunning view. Dedicated kitchen area with gas stove and excellent appliances. Large private pool, perfect for relaxing with a great view. Peaceful forest location away from the noise of Ubud center (you will need vehicle transport for any activity, nothing is nearby, but the view makes it worthwhile). Being in the middle of nature means bugs and geckos, but that’s expected and part of the experience (and there is plenty of bug sprays provided). When we faced a privacy issue with neighbors using a drone and moving into our pool area, management responded quickly and professionally to resolve it. Strangely placed open toilet at the back of the room, next to the closet, which looked awkward and lacked privacy. The private toilet was located outside next to the pool, making it inconvenient. Very strict late check-out policy: Check-out is at 11:00 AM, which is earlier than many other villas. Even if you inform the manager in advance that you need a later check-out, you will still be charged for it. The way this was explained was vague and unclear, which caused confusion. It doesn’t really make sense to “announce” a late check-out if the outcome is the same—you will be charged no matter what. Guests should be prepared for this and plan accordingly, as flexibility is not offered.

Words can't explain how perfect this place is! The photos don't do it justice. Absolutely stunning villa, friendly & helpful staff, clean facilities, comfortable bed & everything you could need on hand. Book this place! You will not regret it. Nothing - it was all amazing.

The cleanliness was below average, and although the staff were kind, there was absolutely no one available to help after 6 PM. The location is in a very rough mountainous area with steep climbs and descents — not ideal at all, especially at night. One night I had to go out to get some medicine from the pharmacy around 11 PM, and when I returned, I realized I had forgotten the villa access card with the taxi driver. I tried contacting the hotel management multiple times, but no one responded. Out of fear and frustration, I had to call the driver back and pay him 200,000 IDR just to get back inside the villa. To make things worse, once I got in, there was a large gecko (tokek) inside, which terrified me as I have a phobia of reptiles. My wife was also very uncomfortable and anxious the whole night. We couldn’t sleep at all and ended up checking out early the next morning. I will definitely not stay here again. The experience was extremely uncomfortable and stressful.

Everything was perfect in our stay, the villa is so so clean and free of insects or anything harmful. The pool was always clean and so good with the view. It is also 10 mins away from Ubud city center which was perfect. The villa also had a kitchen which allowed us to cook and prepare quick meals. The wifi was just amazing and the villa was so quiet. Because there were no toiletries such as toothbrush, slipper and shower cap which did not allow me to go buy them because check in was at 11 pm, I called the staff but they refused to provide them.

We were looking for a Villa with a private pool that offered views of forest/jungle with privacy. This place exceeded what we expected. There could have been a few eateries within walking distance. But transport was easily arranged and it's not far to the centre of UBUD

We stayed in 3 of the villas, over 2 weeks time. Waduri was our favorite because there was less road noise in that one. The staff is fantastic, and Niloo was very attentive to needs or concerns. This very high end, exquisite property is overlooking a deep canyon with a river that roars after a hard rain. Monkeys visit regularly! You’d think you were in heaven, if it wasn’t for the extremely busy road on the other side of the canyon. It’s the road that passes Maya, to get to Cahaya Induh Villas. The very taxing road noise. We sleep with high decibel ear plugs, but would be woken up often by trucks or Harley Davidson type engine noise.

Absolutley the best Villa in the area! It exceeded our expectations starting with the beautiful view of the forrest with a loft style living area. The layout was perfect with a comfortable bed, open kitchen, huge shower area, and a private entrance. The back patio was our favorite where we did Yoga every morning, swam in our own infiniti pool, and lounged in our second outdoor living room! We even saw monkey's from our backyard and while taking a shower. Reccommend ordering the floating breakfast! The service was perfect, and they can arrange everything from a personnal driver and excursions! Grab trips to the Ubud market was only $2.00 We will definately be back again! Nothing
