Mahadana Villas

- Room cleaningness : I found a dead cockroach close to my bathroom door and two little worms in my bed. Whilst I do know that the facility is located in the middle of the jungle I expect hotel personnel to spray some insect repellent to avoid these incoveniences to happen and ensure that the room meets the cleaning standards. Breakfast: the facility provides breakfast only if the order is made the day before. As I was not aware of this facility rule for the first days I think this is something worth mentioning to guests as they are checking in. Overall I did enjoy my stay and found this place quite charming and conveniently located. I am giving my honest feedback as I know that with these little adjustments this place can be marvelous.

I liked the location, the bed was comfortable, staff is friendly, room and balcony spacious. I didn’t like the pool, the shower was terrible they have stones in the shower which I saw bags coming from there, no place to hang your towel so weird. I didn’t find the room very clean, the sheets were stained. Hotel is ok but I wouldn’t go back.

The pool was really nice with a beautiful view. The room was also very nice. The staff were very nice and helpful. The sheets when I arrived were very dirty and stained. The staff changed the fitted sheet when I asked for new sheets but didn’t change the pillow cases. I didn’t feel confident in the cleanliness of the duvet. The bed has curtains around it which I tried not to touch as they were also very unclean. Also got in the way of watching the television. The route to the hotel is difficult. They should make it clear that the hotel is not car accessible and the 2 routes to the hotel and not very clearly marked and involve an extremely steep climb. Difficult if you have a large suitcase.

Nothing! Nothing! There were mouse in our room. And during the wholw night we could find nobody, literally nobody at the reception. We had to stay at the room during the night with MOUSE! Staff were friendly. Infinity pool is awesome! Absolutely terrible stay. - towel was old - bed is broken - shower working bad - not easy to get in - breakfast really bad - cleaning by request, even breakfast plates and so on…

Not anything wrong with the property, just a good note that there were many stairs to the accomodation site.

The only issue I faced was that the bathtub was a little dirty. Everything else was just perfect! I definitely want to go back to Mahadana.

The property is closed to busy Ubud and yet feels very peaceful … room is beautiful, the garden is very well tended and the small infinity pool offers beautiful views . There are two entrances to the property : the back entrance is great . The front entrance from the main road is via steep steps a bit slippery during the rainy season … I like the property very much .

- It's well located, walking distance to the center and good restaurants, - beautiful comfortable room and very comfortable bed and bedsheets, - the place is elevated, so you have the swimming pool with nice views for the sunset and surrounding hills, - generally quite private and secluded, you don't hear the traffic, or not much. - well responsive and helpful staff. -> To enter the place you need to hike up tall Indonesian-made uneven stairs. In the heat it's already tiring by itself. And If you travel with a suitcase, it will be very difficult for you to climb it - wouldn't recommend with heavy luggage. -> The wifi was not strong enough for video calls and sometimes was breaking fully - it caused me issues during work. -> My room was above a Koi pond with a waterfall engine that was very loud - I needed to use earplugs to sleep. -> There was no hangers in the bathroom - no way how to hang your towels. Also no shower hose, only a ceiling waterfall shower that is 3m above - makes it tricky if you want to wash only your hair, or vice versa - only body.

There's alot of great potential for this place. The room is great, very clean and comfortable and the pool view is stunning! Location was also perfect, great to walk everywhere, just be aware you do have to climb some steep stairs to get up to the stay and many grabs didn't see where our place was but very worth it as it makes your stay more quiet and peaceful. The only biggest downside was the staff. They were nice but there was a huge language barrier, given but it is expected that they'd have some basic english to communicate requests which wasn't there, and even using Google translate was tough with them as they still weren't understanding us. It made our stay less enjoyable as they weren't able to understand basic requests.

The place is awesome, so as the room and the view.. My family really had an excellent stay and experience in their villa and really met our expectation. The place is very quiet too whoch is really a good place for relaxing. I woul also like to thanks all the staffs as they were very helpful during our stay, especially in catering our short notice request for breakfast. The preparation of food is really classy and exceptional! Will surely gonna come back in this villa and stay for more days.

I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights and I have to say it was a very pleasant stay. The location is ideal, close to the historic center but surrounded by nature, rice fields, and greenery. The pool, although not huge, is very comfortable and a great place to relax. However, there are a few things that could be improved. Firstly, it would be fantastic to have a bar with a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Additionally, the microwave in the communal kitchen should be replaced as the current one is not working. Another important thing is to ensure that hot water is always available for washing. This is essential to guarantee guests' comfort. Despite these small issues, the stay was very enjoyable. The staff was friendly and the property is well-maintained. I recommend this hotel to those looking for a peaceful stay surrounded by nature, but with easy access to the historic center.
