The Royal Hotel

The room we had was very comfortable, great shower. Fantastic views and staff can’t do enough for you. Not a single thing!

Location great. Breakfast good. Building a bit dated. My dinner arrived cold, needed to send back. Others were ok

Breakfast was wonderful. The rooms were spacious and clean with great showers. The view across the port was gorgeous and visible from the bed. Staff were amazing It was a little noisy as we were there during the world cup.

Room 42 is right above the kitchen vent/fans , we were not aware of this till bed time , the fan noise went off about 11.30 , warm night so had windows open , fans and vent started at 5.30 am , noisy and filled room with smell of bacon like a little smell of bacon but this was excessive . Had very broken sleep , it was too late being the early hours to contact the staff . I would consider making room 42 a storage cupboard. If you were in a room at front of hotel or elsewhere I don't think you would have any problem , just don't stay in room 42. Otherwise staff and location are very good.

The location is wonderful and the staff were supre friendly and helpful. The rooms were okay and had what we needed and had expected per our reservations. Check in was a little odd. We arrived a little later than expected and there was no one at the front desk. The bar tender was able to get us signed in and provide the room key. The window in our room looked out onto a dilapidated looking roof between other hotel rooms that were kind of 'right there' meaning we needed to have our blinds closed to have our own privacy as well as give the other guests their privacy.

Our room was very spacious and had an amazing balcony with a view of the loch. The desk staff was very welcoming. And breakfast was vast and made to order. The location and town was super cute. Our only complaint was the waiting staff at breakfast. It was hard to get their attention and food.

Right on the water We booked 6 months ago and ended up with rooms facing the back/kitchen. An upgrade may have given us a different view?

The staff was exceptionally helpful and considerate. The check in person carried my suitcase upstairs for me and the dining staff were very helpful for food allergies and attentiveness. The room was large with ample areas to set things. Easy location to walk into town.

Set in a beautiful location, staff friendly and attentive. Very clean.Good food and relaxing bar. Small gap at bottom of room door lets hallway light in which is on all night.

Large room and comfortable bed. Noisy and a lot of people. The breakfast was packed and noisy, foods were not restocked. This is a big busy hotel.

The location of the hotel,the staff during the check in & check out,they were very helpful and soft spoken,the cleanliness in the room and in general in lobby area was emaculate.
