We chose this property, since we were staying only one night, before our connecting flight. The location was ideal for us to visit Garuda wishnu kencana and a sunrise trip to uluwatu. This B&B is in a residential part of Bali and a very different experience from the tourist centers, which have is a much better feel for what this city was originally like. Nyoman and her team are lovely and very helpful. Given our packed schedule, we did not get a chance to try her food, but we would definitely stay here on our next trip. Beautiful garden with local flowers attracts many birds and it was wonderful to hear the birdsong during the day. The rooms are a little small and the space between the bed and the French windows takes a little time to get used to. The bathroom was nice and spacious

We spent 2 weeks in Bali and moved between accommodations, but Pinokkio was the best of them by far. Nayoman is the most welcoming host we had and her tips and advices were exactly what we needed to enjoy our journey even more. She explained us how to follow the tides status and when to go to the beach. She even suggested activates and restaurants near to the other accommodations we had. She is an excellent cook, I would eat anything that she'll do. The bungalow we received was exactly like pictures if not better: beautiful design, clean, the bed really comfy, AC made the night temperatures bearable. The location is just perfect, 10min walking away to Garuda Wisnu Kencana, it is visible through restaurant's windows which is lovely. We used mostly Grab to get around anywhere in Uluwatu (max 25min to each beach). Was really easy and Nayoman helped with any question we had. Not a minus for us, but be aware that Bali is full of stray dogs. Nayoman and her family take care of some of them (they have also cats around). I got a little scared when we arrived because the dogs bark to strangers, but they are not aggressive in any way, just make noise :D

Clean and conveniently located central to everything Nothing

At the same time, the facilities, room and services are immaculate. They make delicious home made food too. The common area is a social spot for exchanging stories. I would definitely stay with them again when I visit next time.

Staff were very kind

The owner is an amazing woman! So kind, I really enjoyed meeting her. It was great. You can hear dogs barking at night so if you are sensitive to that bring earplugs

Our stay was short but incredibly sweet, made even sweeter by the host who shared some amazing food and good stories with us. The grounds are clean and rooms spacious. We highly recommend.

The property was authentically traditional, safe, and well maintained. The air conditioner was wonderful, and the breakfasts were excellent, especially the homemade bread/toast, fresh fruit, and delicious lattes! Snakeskin fruit was a new fruit for me, and we loved it. I didn’t like not having access to filtered water included, and no tea kettle in our room to make our own tea or instant coffee. I also didn’t like having to use the same towels, face clothes, and hand towels for 7 days, especially when we were sick. Thankfully, Nyoman was very helpful is getting us proper medication for our severe Bali belly. The location of the villa is fairly quiet and rural, but within easy Gojek distance of main attractions of southern Bali. )and walking distance of GWK. We loved having Nyoman’s young daughter, cat, and dogs around… plus visiting with guests in the gorgeous restaurant space, or by the refreshing pool. We loved Nyoman’s Italian cooking, over several dinners, especially the carbonara.

Nyoman was such wise and empathetic host. I had casually mentioned that I had gotten my first tattoo and she cut off a large piece of Aloe Vera for me to use on it. It was so thoughtful, considerate and helpful seeing as I had no prepared for the aftercare whatsoever. And the little cabin/bungalow I was in was SO HOMEY. I loved it. My only complaint was that at 6'2 it was a squeeze. I felt like Will Ferrell in Elf at the North Pole. I hit my hand on a beam above my head at least once a day. The breakfast was small by American standards but it was tasty and homemade. It kept me full for a surprising amount of time. But Nyoman is a treasure and one of my favorite parts of my month long trip.

The room is comfortable. Good and central location with easy access by scooter or car (Grab and Gojek arrive really fast) from the beaches, Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park and the airport (30 min). Nice pool to relax. The best of this place are the owners, Nyoman and Tony, who made me feel so welcome, just like longtime friends. The breakfast was carefully prepared by Nyoman, who made a delicious gluten free bread to attend my food restriction. They serve really good coffee. The pets, cats and a dog called India, made my stay even better. Everything was perfect.

The breakfast they served was nice and the room was super tidy.Besides, Nyoman and her staff are so friendly that I felt I was at home. I had a very good talk with them and the environment was quiet and beautiful just like a garden. I highly recommend all the tourists come here to stay if they ever visit Bali.

The hosts are the most amazing people and it is them that makes Pinokkio so special.

Friendly staff, great food. Smaller property, quiet. Loved the room.
-
The room is super clean, the bed is comfortable. Breakfast is amazing.
-
The room is smaller the expected, the pool as well. The towels are not changed every day, and the property doesn’t provide beach towels. There is no filtered water for free in the room/reception.
-
Quiet but close enough to everything ! So peaceful!!

The miracle in the Pinokkio story, of bringing a wooden structure to life, has been re-enacted by the crew of Pinokkio b&b. The Javan style cabins are decorated with a real eye for detail. Also expect homemade bread, jams, own import ingredients from Italy and amazing dishes from chef and owner Nyoman. This was my last accommodation of a 3-month trip and without a doubt my favourite.

The location is great for being close to GWK and many beaches. The room is air-conditioned. You will enjoy hearing the sound of birds early in the morning -- a completely different experience than staying in a luxury hotel.
