Amazing, small, clean, beautiful hotel! The staff were all very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend.

We found the bartender to make great drinks and we were very impressed in the little lobby bar. It was nice also to have food at the hotel plus a great restaurant next door.

Our #1 pick when in Des Moines. Quiet, super clean and great breakfast!

We enjoyed our stay. Was quiet, thick walls we think because a little league team was running around the halls while we were there but we only noticed when we weren't inside our room. Staff was friendly and very casual. Beautiful lobby.

Only thing I would steer clear of is staying in a room by the pool because it is very noisy

The room was not as clean as I would've expected. The bathroom had a handful of hair in the shower and the grout needs replaced. There was a mystery stain on the stairs and crumbs on the couch. And I woke up to the TV glitching like crazy. The staff checked me in, but nothing particularly special about that. Not very satisfying considering the price.

breakfast can be improved

The breakfast was good and convenient. Pool was large and kids enjoyed their time there. We had an issue with our 3rd party booking.com and our reservation was canceled because we checked in a day after our scheduled checking date. When I called a week prior, I was told checking in a day later would not be an issue. When the nice lady could figure out what was going on with my reservation, she got the manager and he was rude and not clear about how the situation was handled. Immediately reinforced that since 3rd party booking, we we had to take it up with them. After quite a bit of back and forth, he finally decided to comp the rooms and prompty got up and left the check in desk without a word further. My family and I were extremely put off by his attitude and tone which killed the vibe of our stay. We were hoping for a more helpful and understanding attitude and that's not what we recieved. The rest of the staff though was very pleasant and helpful. That manager though needs some retraining in my opinion.

Located in a convenient spot, there’s a lot around. Very very very lively. Lots of noise going on even late into the night. Our room was unfortunately right next to the indoor pool. Our room smelled intensely of chlorine, and there was a window awkwardly overlooking the pool. They could see us, we could see them. Children playing loudly late into the night (even past the adult only pool hours)

I booked this hotel because it states that it is soundproof, however, it was pretty noisy. We heard thru the walls, heard people walking upstairs, and cranking sounds in the walls. I wanted to fill my water bottle and was told there was no place to fill it so there was no water available, except for sale.

We fast in morning so cannot give opinion but it smelled delicious I like softer pillows for sleeping! I love your pillows for relaxing during day but not for sleeping
