Sacred House

Room was fantastic!! Loved sitting on the balcony for afternoon tea. The hamman and massage was fantastic! Loved, loved the pool! Breakfast was plentiful. Gondal was extremely helpful, went out of his way. No full length or decent mirror in room. Bed was extremely firm, too hard for both me and my husband. No consistency of staff, didn’t know there was an egg menu until day 3. No lockers with towels in ladies room, even though we were the only ones there. Husband had to get one for me from the mens locker.

The facilities were nothing short of unique and exceptional. Sacred’s House is located in beautiful Cappadocia but it is truly a destination in itself. It is the stuff of dreams. Whoever designed it had exceptional artistic vision. It was a delight to enter every space and to savor the details, the antiques, the lovely architectural nuances. The totality was simply magical. We were given a tour when we arrived and there was a 3-tiered tea plate, filled with fresh fruits & nuts, and cookies. The included breakfast was such a delicious treat! Be sure to visit the romantic pool beneath the complex, carved out from the cave. The WIFI could have been more reliable but we were moved to other quarters and that resolved itself.

What did I NOT like about this entire hotel??? Other than the restaurant food, the place is beyond imaginable. Plus, we got the room that I wanted. Utmost respect for the designer and the staff for an amazing experience here. My boyfriend wanted to stay longer. Restaurant: eh... we spent about 80 euros for 2 entrees, a Coke, and a bottle of water. While the restaurant's decor is absolutely amazing, the food felt very short. Both of our dishes did not have any flavor. We rave about how we can't go wrong with food in Turkey, but this was an exception to that thought... it would be helpful to ensure that the food is seasoned.

The hotel is beautiful. The beds are comfortable and the bathtub was huge! There are a lot of stairs if you stay on the second floor. The pool is underground if you are claustrophobic.

Çağan & Gondal were excellent staff members and made the trip a wonderful experience! Sacred House is an AMAZING place and truly is one of the best places to stay in Cappadocia. It is beautiful, historic, quiet, and has everything you need!

Food is great esp breakfast. Bed is hard. Not all rooms have AC and some have a portable AC machine so it was hot in the room. A fan was provided. If you want to take instagram pictures it’s a great spot bc the architecture and setting but for me I’m not into that and I think for the price it should of been more comfortable and closer to main town. We had a driver so getting around was not an issue but if you plan on suing taxis to get around it’s an extra expense. Bed. Toilet. Hot room

Absolutely one of the most stunning hotels I’ve stayed in! It’s more than a hotel… it is unique and impressive in so many ways. I felt I’d entered through the front doors in to another time and place. The staff were very helpful, kind and thoughtful. My room, Fairies Nest was divine, I felt I was sleeping in a decadent castle. The swimming pool was so beautiful and warm I didn’t want to leave. I loved every moment of my stay. I hope to return one day! Nothing !

The beds can be more comfortable.

Sacred House is easily one of the most unique and best hotels we’ve ever stayed at—perhaps even our number one in terms of uniqueness! Everything was absolutely perfect, exactly as expected, and the entire experience was mind-blowing. From the moment we arrived, the warm and welcoming staff made us feel at home. They assisted with parking, ensured a smooth check-in, and gave us a fantastic introduction to the hotel and our room. The sacred, old-royal ambiance throughout the property is truly mesmerizing. A special highlight is the Blood Pool, our absolute favorite feature, offering a truly unique experience with free access to the sauna and hammam bath. Our second favorite was the amazing breakfast, and lastly, the indoor bar and garden, which added even more charm to our stay. If you're looking for a truly unique stay in Cappadocia, this is the place. Plus, it’s just a short walk to Ürgüp city center, making everything easily accessible. Incredible value for money—highly recommended! Nothing. everything was perfect.

Loved the theme of the hotel, the staff were amazing and friendly. Enjoyed the welcome drink/cake, being shown around and given some history of the making of the hotel. The Turkish breakfast included was excellent and took us a couple of hours to eat it all. A fire in our sanctuary suite elevated our comfort level. Enjoyed the pool and the sauna.
