Phi Hotel La Tonnara di Bonagia

The rooms are big with interesting furniture Big garden The pool is open only from 9 AM. You are not allowed not even to stay and read a book and the staff is very aggressive. The cabin shower is very very small Cleaning is once at 4 days (on a 4 star hotel??!?) The vents are noisy and disturbing You can not open the windows due to the mosquitoes

Fan in dining room quasi-broken/super loud. One of the AC units was super loud outside a few times.

The picturesque location, the fact that it is emplaced on a lovely rocky beach with a jetty that enables you to jump into the sea. Lovely spacious rooms and fabulous breakfast. Nothing

Everyone was welcoming great spot

Valderice is beautiful and unique. The resort was converted from a government compound into a hotel. They did a good job. Dinner buffet made dining arrangement much more available and interesting. Our positive experience is much about doing nothing for pleasure. The employee at the desk upon checking in can be more welcoming. It could be the plume of guests at that particular moment.

That we couldn't extend our stay

The location is superb for a relaxing holiday. The garden and the pool is superb, is nice that you have access to the sea and you have a small little beach part as well (it's not a sand beach, it's a rock beach so take your snorkeling equipment with you). You have private parking, restaurant, bar at the beach and bar at the main entrance. The room where we stayed it was nice, big, with balcony, we had fridge and a small kitchen with accessories, Ac. I recommend to rend a car to visit around (for example: erice, trapani, and nearby beaches) because in Bonagia there aren't many things to do. The breakfast was the same every morning and not very varied. We stayed 9 days, and sometimes I did not went to eat breakfast because I had nothing left to choose from to eat. Take your own beach towels to the pool, because to take towels from them is expensive.

Was a bit disappointed in our room. The air conditioning did not work properly, and the room was uncomfortably hot. One night at 1 am we woke up to extremely loud firecrackers right outside of our room in the courtyard below. Scared us as it was extremely loud. The staff chalked it up to kids. I would think you would have better security and not allow anyone into the courtyard at that hour. Thought the price of the room was a bit expensive. They also need a better choice of food options.

Food served at dinner was not good with not much variety.

We like the location and the fact that it was a tornado something different than a regular hotel and that you also had a good quality restaurant in House In this specific day, we were looking for rest and relaxation. The beds were very hard and for some reason at 1:30 AM in the morning there were fireworks that lasted over five minutes that woke us up and we could not fall back to sleep so as far as I was concerned, it was a total loss when I explained that to your staff, they basically shrugged their shoulders and said it may have been kids. This isn’t the first time I’m staying at a hotel I know when somebody’s just ignoring me and that’s how I felt and I don’t think I’d ever come back. Also, your restaurant was very impressive. We had the Sicilian night. The assortment was fantastic. I am a true Sicilian and to be honest I think you guys could’ve done a better job. I think you’re catering to some foreigners. I’ll give you an example. The pastas were dry and not well sauced with condiments. It just wasn’t something that I would expect for Sicilian cuisine.

Food was just ok

Everything - lovely resort we enjoyed the pool , the small private beach and the stunning views. Breakfast was lovely and staff were very accommodating in providing gluten free options for my daughter. Beach / pool towels were offered for a fee per towel and were not complimentary. We were able to purchase towels at a nearby beach store which worked out well.

I like the location ,the view from the pool is amazing the food is amazing too ? ? The staff are so nice too the cleaners ,the restaurant buffet staff and the staff in the reception ? And also the guy that help us bring our luggage to our room thank you all guys! Your the best !??? We don't really like our room The shower is small it's bit old and we can't have access on wifi only when we go out to our room ?

Views Beautiful! Very nice quiet location and only 40 minutes to many of the sites! Staff unfriendly!

Night club music until 1am every night in the courtyard. Staff forgot to include gluten free for our takeaway breakfast. Not enough hot water for a bath.

Beautiful location, rich cultural history in a picturesque setting. The food was delicious and the property is a wonderful place for families to enjoy.
