It was a horrible experience. The property is run by a group of uneducated and unprofessional people. Starting from the reception, reservation manager, general manager all are unprofessional and liar. It seems the owner is not updated on what's going on in his hotel. Please do not book this hotel. It only looks good, the rest are all worst. I think booking.com should review it from their customers and immediately remove this hotel from their site.

The Lawn of the Hotel was spacious and really good looking, and the breakfast was also good, But the rooms allocated was not good enough. Ambience inside the room, sitting arrangement like chairs in the room, etc.

Nothing to like. Palace word is just in name. It is an ordinary hotel I am a UAE resident and stayed in this hotel for one night. Palace word is just in name. It is an ordinary hotel Parking is too far. You have to walk with all your luggage from parking to reception. No one is there to help you with luggage. Construction work is going on without following any procedure. It's open and dusty. They don't bother to cover it. You have to walk through the dirty construction area to your room. Rooms are outdated and shabby. Worth considering other hotel in this price range. This is so outdated. Response received from Hotel "For parking if number of cars will increase more & more then obviously parking space will be little far but it is in the hotel premises " I feel the explanation regarding the parking situation is inadequate. If your parking is located far from the reception — especially during high occupancy — then it becomes the hotel's clear responsibility to provide assistance with luggage. Expecting guests, including those with newborns or multiple bags, to carry their own luggage through an UNCOVERED, DIRTY and BUMPY area is not acceptable for any hotel, let alone one branded as a "Palace." Guest comfort and support should be a priority, and unfortunately, that was missing during my stay.

My stay at Hotel Surya, Kaiser Palace was truly memorable and a perfect blend of comfort, culture, and calm in the heart of Varanasi. What I liked most about the property was its beautiful heritage charm—the hotel is set in a former royal palace, and you can actually feel the history in its architecture, vintage decor, and lush green lawns. The staff were warm, courteous, and helpful throughout. They were always ready with a smile and made sure we felt welcome from check-in to check-out. A special mention to the housekeeping team for keeping the rooms clean and cozy every day. The pool area was another highlight—clean, well-maintained, and perfect to cool off after a day exploring the ghats and temples. The in-house restaurant served delicious food, with a good mix of Indian and continental options. The breakfast buffet had fresh fruits, hot items, and local delicacies—something for every palate.

Staff was quite courteous and helpful. The toileteries were not up to the mark in comparison to the tariff charged, shampoo & conditioner were quite bad. Toilet seat was not sanitized properly to match your hotel standard. Mattress has lost its strength.

The stay was very good — the spa is simply amazing and the staff is very attentive. The room was always clean and the towels were replaced regularly, which was a big plus. The pool was almost always empty, making it more comfortable to enjoy. Incredible experience, I would definitely come back and recommend the hotel! We had food poisoning from the restaurant’s food and had to stay an extra day, which at least allowed us to enjoy the spa even more.
