The White Canyon

Worst hotel in Varanasi. One should only stay if they like dirty bed linen, smelly bathrooms and rude staff. They will not change your towels or clean the room but would rather fold your old wet towel and place it on the bed on the next morning even when you have requested the room to get cleaned. The staff is non responsive to any requests and behaves rudelym. Extremely inconvenient location and the parking is far. They advertise falsely for being a hygienic and good hotel but in reality is a dirty, filthy and horrendous place. Not worth any penny spent though They charge a much higher price for giving you a traumatic experience in the name of a hotel stay. And inspite of complaining and they knowing their mistake they won't offer any refunds or even a genuine apology.

Noting Location & Service

Upon checking in, no water in bathroom. Whole night could not sleep, due to frequent power fluctuations and air con break down. Very poorly organised. Facilities and poor response.

The hotel location is convenient, as it’s quite near the Kashi Vishwanath Mandir. The staff were okay, but overall the stay was below expectations. My overall experience was below expectations. The room was not cleaned on the first day, and only after I informed the staff on the second day was it done. On the third day, the bed sheet was not changed. The room key was not working properly. The room itself is quite small, with no sunlight or proper balcony access. I had requested a special arrangement while booking online, but nothing was arranged upon arrival. Additionally, the tea prices are very high compared to the service and overall quality. Overall, it was not a satisfactory experience and did not meet my expectations.

1. Staff was quite responsive, helpful & provide fair guidance on visiting famous places. Thanks to Manoj ji for that. 2. Free wifi connection 3. AC cooling was fine 4. TV was equipped with firestick with Amazon prime subscription but No netflix. 5. Bedding was clean 6. Drinking water bottle was provided. 7. Bath shower was working fine in Bathroom, taps were also working fine. No issues with commode. 8. Electric kettle was provided 9. Location of hotel is near to kashi vishwanath temple, Gadowlia market, Deena chat bhandar, kashi chat & different ghats. I felt this is the only reason for 3k+/day tarriff rates. 10. Main road is at 300 mtr from where auto rickshaw,toto (tuk-tuk) are available to visit sankat mochan, kali temple, tulsi manas, chachi ki kachori, etc. Considering the 3k+/day tarriff with standard room size 10 by 12 ft 1. No toiletries been provided apart from handwash and body wash. 2. No complementary morning tea/coffee. 3. There is no breakfast facility available at hotel. So you need go to main road which is at distance of 300 metre (difficult for kids to walk). 4. Hotel doesn't have any dedicated Car parking space. Staff can arrange over nearby street but streets are really congested and only sufficient for 2 wheelers or battery operated tuk-tuk or toto as it is not on the main road which makes you feel hotel is overpriced. 5. Near by streets will not give a value for money feeling. 6. I stayed ground floor but there is no elevator for upper floor. 7. No common area for casual sitting apart from terrace which is accessible through stairs only and one 3 seater sofa at reception where staff sits. I will recommend if you get a deal around 2k/day then you will expect less from hotel & more from location of hotel to visit nearby famous places mentioned in pros.

Had a comfortable stay in White Canyon hotel. The room was comfortable and the staff were very courteous and helpful. Special thanks to Manoj ji for the guidance and taking us to silk sarees factory. The hotel location is bit inside from the main road and need to walk a bit.

The service was good, and staff was very helpful. Rooms were well maintained. No breakfast option, and with rooms that size, the price was not appropriate at all.

Location was near the important Ghat Area, little inside from the cowd, cleanliness and neewly paited so generally okay lanes to go inside are small so difficult to find inmmediatley from main roads, can put some sign boards

The management and all staffs were very helpful and cooperative, clean and hygienic. Total value for money. Located strategically close to the Kashi Vishwanath temple as well as the Ghats. No lift, not located on main road, no restaurant.

The location was very quiet and the staff who were present were helpful. It didn't look great as it was in the photo.
