Wonderful people who run the hotel! very personable. Great breakfasts with fresh squeezed orange juice. Way beyond the normal hotel experience! nothing. Wonderful place and experience
-
very nice small hotel, swimming pool, parking for the car, helpful staff nothing comes to mind

The room was large and clean. Separate shower and toilet was great! We were in the middle of a heat wave and the air conditioning worked well. It was difficult to find the building. The elevator was not working well and the staff were not friendly or welcoming. We were charged extra fees/taxes, which was a surprise as we were not charged this anywhere else in Italy. Furnishing was sparse - there were no chairs for sitting or places to put our things.

Nothing I can think off.

Excellent service, very cool rooms, nice breakfast. Booked last minute and showed up late in the evening of New Year's Eve, but were warmly welcomed to join the party complete with multi-course dinner and champagne. A great night that we'll never forget!

Very nice old property with lovely restaurant, rooftop pool and garden. And the breakfast was super! But the room itself was little tired.

The location is very beautiful and the staff was very friendly and accommodating and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable The hotel facilities are in old buildings that have been decorated with a lot of artistic taste There is a swimming pool on the top floor with a very beautiful view on the town The restaurant is very beautiful and you can taste a lot of local specialties Breakfast is served and not a buffet Some of the room are from an old building that has been adapted to be a hotel, you can see that they tried to make it very pretty and had taste on doing it, but it has its limitations, such as the bathroom and shower were in.a sort of decorated wooden box. The rooms we had were in a different building from restaurant and reception and you had to cross the street to reach it

The room was not clean!

We had a very spacious room, perfect for a family with three children. It’s an old building with some very nice characteristics. Maintenance level of the building itself could be improved, the albergo deserves it!

If you like something different, you will like this place. I love’d that there is art and attention to detail everywhere. There is a surprise around every corner. Also they gave us a free upgrade since the room we booked wasn’t ready. We hade the room with a terrace and an outside whirlpool. The pool on the roof was lovely for our son (11). There is a restaurant too, really high quality. Maybe not the cheapest but definitely worth the money. The risotteria nearby was great as well. Great place to stay if you want to visit the nearby lakes. Also if you have weddingplans, this place is for you! The pool looked a bit milky. And the wisteria is beautiful but a bit out of control.

Private jacuzzi bath in balcony. Swimming pool on the roof. Exceptional breakfast. Best hotel in italy. Highly recommend.

Special and wonderful place. The old buildings, the art, the rooftop terrace with pool…! Breakfast and dinner are very nice.

Hotel is quite nice once you get used to the museum like atmosphere. Furniture and setting is old fashioned but staff very friendly and helpful. If you like an antique setting, this is the place. Restaurant prices high but excellent quality. For one night an interesting accommodation in a 17th century villa. Pool across the street in a rooftop setting. Breakfast was ok, no buffet, just minimum. Terrible coffee. Pool a little small but refreshing in summer heat.

Incredible hotel with a rich history and heritage, lots of original features without compromising on quality and modern comfort.
