Hotel Velden - 24 Checkin Zimmer im Zentrum

Room with balcony was very clean and offered everything advertised and needed for our trip. Nothing. Everything as booked and expected.

Parking outside our apartment. Jacuzzi bathtub.

Fully automated check-in, clean and modern. The noise from the neighbouring car wash.

It was difficult to open the door. Thanks to the lady staff that help us to open the door. Otherwise we would not have got into the apartment

Rooms were clean, nicely equipped. Beds were very comfortable. Automated check in did not work properly for the second room

Easy acces, very clean, perfect for trip stop. We're on winter time and in room was very, very hot.

Room is very comfortable and spacious, balcony is nice, the best of all is jacuzzi. It was a bit difficult to enter the room due to automatic door lock.

Perfect for a short stay. Clean and sufficient for passing through Velden. Do you pre-check in online, the machine at the hotel can be really difficult to use (difficult typing). The place does not have an elevator, and the stairs are narrow, if you are traveling with elderly.

The staff were eager to help with acquiring the room. Due to foreign letters in my name it was difficult on our own.

Was a great spot for an overnight stay, very friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast! Not far from the city centre, quiet, and the space was ok, with a nice balcony. Unfortunately our door had a problem with the passcode, but then it got resolved. There are no elevators so it’s hard to carry heavy items upstairs and there was only one socket so multiple phones, laptops or tablets cannot be charged at once.

Great automated checkin, we arrived late in the evening and got our rooms within 5mins. Location is a bit further away from the main attractions in Velden, however it was a short walk. Rooms were good and modern with the needed amenities (ac, big tv, wifi was great, etc.) There's a bar on the 1st floor of the hotel and there was quite some noise from it (it was streaming football game). Not a bother for me, but I can see this might be an issue for some people.

It was clean Not enough parking space. For a budget hotel and no service staff, 249€ per night is a lot.

Quiet location in short walking distance from Velden center, 15 minutes drive from Villach. Free parking. Contactless check in/out. Friendly staff in bar, nice breakfast. Modern room, good shower. Entry to the room by 6-digits code (good luck trying to remember or not loose the piece of paper). My room was in suterrain which I do not like (too dark for my taste and jacuzzi in the room does not compensate this for me) but with no reception, I had no idea how to change this.

Great big tub and powerful shower. The A/C didn’t work even after I got a new remote from the lady. The location had no elevators and also the check in process was very poor on the machine.

The room vas very clean! Whoever wanna stay at this place be aware that THERE IS A PUB under the rooms. First of all, check in was a nightmare, we have arrived after a 5 hours trip, there is no reception just a computer to check in, there is no problem with it, but it didn’t work well, then I called the „reception number“ , where the guy didn’t even listened me at all, and shut the phone on me. But luckily there was an unbelievable friendly and helpful woman from housekeeping (Ildi) who helped to do our check in. Second, we arrived back from our walk in the city at the evening, nobody told us that the “cafe and breakfast bar” can turn into a club. The lights were up like in a disco, and the music was loud like the wall and floor was dancing for the rhythm in the room. I would say there is no problem with that, BUT MENTION SOMETHING about this, so I don’t chose this place because I wanted to take rest!!!!! So we rather went back to the city for a dinner. My favorite part comes.. we arrived back from our dinner, the music in the pub was more silence, so we wanted to take two beers to go up to our room. We stepped in and I said we would like to have two beer, before I could say I want wheat beers, an elderly woman said one of them she already started to make and it’s not wheat beer so that’s it, that’s what we get. I couldn’t change and I had to pay for something that I didn’t want. THIS IS BELOW CRITICISM. At least the room was clean, and a huge thanks to Ildi, who was helpful and nice all the way through!!
