Good stay at Velden-near city center, nice rooms with balcony, good breakfast, friendly staff, free car parking During my booking I noticed that all hotels are overpriced-it was not high season, so all hotels are less half full empty but keep prices over. For this price I will never stay here for a longer time. My surprise what Austrians do here? Lake? Hmm...:)...

Excellent location and great restaurant. The hosts are very friendly, pleasant and discreet and always available if needed. The highest rating and all the recommendations if you want a pleasant and quiet place.

Great location on the outskirts of town but a very short stroll from where it's all happening. Comfortable bed, and a good shower. Dated but full of character! Fantastically generous breakfast included in price. Didn't get to use it, but the swimming pool and onsite restaurant is a bonus. Good WiFi and great to have a balcony. Although full of character, it could do with an update in places i.e. better tv. Would be great if an iron was available. Unfortunately, I had a cheeky infestation of ants when I woke up in the morning.. They soon disappeared once I packed up my food to leave.

friendly staff. unfortunately i haven’t had the time to test the pool they have since it was only a short stay. only filtered coffee for breakfast (maybe for elderly people)

The hotel is absolutely great value for Velden am Worthersee, which is generally very pricey. The location about seven minute walk from the lake is very convenient and the place itself is full of old-world charm. You’d think you just stepped back into a movie set of the early 60s. Rooms are a bit worn out but sizable and the bathrooms have been upgraded. The gentleman who manages the breakfast room is a real charm who totally completes the classic setting. Not much to complain about… Very good value for money!
