Air Venice on the Beach

The room and bath is bare bones. Clean but simple. Location is prime. Quiet area. Comfortable bed. No AC. Nice beach views. Each room has a fridge.

Spacious room and extremely helpful front desk personnel. My room had a fan, so the windows were open. The Venice Beach Club plays loud music on Saturday night.

My stay was pleasant. I do wish I had access to a toaster oven and had some utensils in the room.

The customer service was just as bad, if not worse. The staff was rude, dismissive, and completely unhelpful when concerns were brought to their attention. Paul, the general manager, was especially disappointing. I genuinely do not understand how he is the general manager based on the way he communicated with guests and handled the situation. You would expect someone in that position to be professional, understanding, and willing to help resolve legitimate problems, but that was not my experience at all. Between the lack of air conditioning, the cleanliness issues, the poor condition of the hotel, and the terrible customer service, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I have had. Management should seriously reconsider how this property is being run and how guests are treated. I would strongly recommend staying somewhere else.

Very Rude and Disturbing hospitality

Not as advertised, poor location at street level and next to a loud bar, not very clean, blinds did not block street lights or car lights, did not feel private, loud noise from bar across the street and people loitering outside our windows all night.

This place was disgusting. It was not at all as advertised. It was dirty, incredibly dated and sketchy. Façade of the hotel looks very cool but as soon as you walk inside, it is a dirty hole.

AIR CONDITIONER

Place didn’t have any air condition, and Tv barely worked/didn’t work, there was a swarm of mosquitoes and we got charged a late fee for leaving the do not disturb sign on the door even though we left at the right time for check out. There was never a night of peace due to the room being on the strip of Venice. Also there is no parking for this property, so we had to park off the property.

We had a partial view of ocean, and a full view north facing Santa Monica and the Pier from our room.

No ac, didnt list what rooms had it. No code to get in door in email like promised. Only one guy working there.

The location was fantastic but there’s hardly any amenities in this property. No free water or tissues. No plates or utensils in the kitchen. And no cleaning of the room when we were there. It’s quite basic but because it’s close to the beach, it’s good for staying as long as you don’t expect any hotel service.

The staff was super friendly and accommodating We didn’t like that there was no air-conditioning like it said on the website and the TV kept not working. We had to keep asking someone to come up and fix it. It was super loud with the trivia night from downstairs on Friday night and we just couldn’t stay cool in the room it was so hot and the homeless people were very dirty and there was needles from drug addicts right on the street outside the hotel when we were loading up our car so that was kind of scary. Parking was expensive in a nightmare experience.

It was a nice weekend stay
