Hotel Erwin Venice Beach

I booked the ocean front suite with one king bed and the beach view was amazing. Our room was on the 5th floor and had an outside balcony that faced the ocean. We had a small gathering in the evening and the room comfortably fit 8 people on the long sofa. We ate at the rooftop restaurant Kassi and the food, drinks and view were amazing. I definitely recommend making reservations ahead for Kassi because it gets very crowded on the weekends.

LOVE this hotel! We have stayed multiple times. Staff is SO accommodating, rooms are immaculate, and the views are spectacular!

Great location. Lovely roof terrace but private function meant our access was limited. Great they offered free bike rental to explore the area. Breakfast was very average. Rooms average but as expected.

Beautiful room and really helpful and nice staff. Enjoyed my stay at hotel Erwin I will be booking here again. (P.S every room view is to die for)

Then lets just move to KASSI-Rooftop-because here you will find the most arrogant, aggressive manager on site. His name is George, and he shouldn't be in the service business. Was threatening to remove us from the place after we had already sat down and ordered drinks and apps. We had a cigarette that we had expressly been told we could smoke upstairs from staff in reception, but he was telling us incessantly that he was goig to remove us. He took the cigarette from our hands because he didnt think we would I will say, Miguel from downstairs and Dan the server upstais at Kassi and the staff at the cafe were kind and sweet. I feel the need to call them out because they really made up for the rest of the ppl there.

This is a great location, close to the best part of Venice Beach. Rooms are nice and staff is very helpful. Rooms with views are definitely great, while city view is nothing special. Breakfast is way below standards. Too bad that parking is not included, as parking nearby is neither easy nor cheap.

Location Some other guest quite loud, for example there was a hotel room party in a room across the hall.

A perfect Resort for the family. We will definitely stay here again! The staff were so helpful and accommodating. The food was excellent.

The staff and services are mediocre. The rooftop bar is fun but you have traffic in and out all the time which delays the elevator. The valet service is awful. Also the people in and around this hotel are skanky.

We had a two night stay here. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is not the place for you, because the surrounding area is colorful and vibrant with activity going into the wee hours. This did NOT impact our enjoyment of the hotel, however! Clientele was both young and old, families with young children and couples. Valet and front desk staff were great and I'd like to give a special shout out to the people running the breakfast room at the bar. They were super friendly and went beyond expectations to make sure we had what we needed. It's a two minute walk to the beach. Be aware that parking is quite expensive, but it is to be expected, considering the location.

when I came back to my room later it wasn't working again. The staff tried to say they offered me another room, which they did, but it was after the AC started to work, so why would I repack all of my things while I was late for an event. Overall extremely frustrating experience. I also found a baby COCKROACH on my ceiling. That was just the cherry on top after trying to sleep in 85 degrees for both nights of my stay. Biggest insult is they didn't give me a refund. Honestly, I would have been satisfied with one night comped based on this experience but they only gave me free parking. Pretty insulting and overall disappionted.

LOCATION WAS GREAT, BEACH WAS EXCELLENT . ROOM WAS LARGE AND A GOOD SIZE LIVING AREA BREAKFAST WAS VERY SIMPLE AND BOTH DAYS HAD LIMITED FOOD SINCE UNDERCATERED.
