Le Serre del Lido

Very nice and beautiful place and very kind proprietor. He call me on the phone twice to be sure I am coming and did not take me money for late check-in. Very close to the beach and very strong air conditioner and Internet. I could not say.

Extremely good location. Lots of greenery and quiet, perfect for a vacation. -

Nice location across from the sea, convenient to shops, restaurants and the vaporetto. Large communal 'lounge' with complimentary coffee, etc. Comfortable bed, quiet, clean, attentive host. Outside tables to relax weather permitting. Good for people who want something different than a hotel experience and who want a change from Venice proper. Lovely travelling by vaporetto to get to the Lido. This is advertised as a bed and breakfast but there is no breakfast (Booking.com does indicate there is no breakfast but it is misleading to label as a B&B)--just some snacks in the room. Even the sign on the gate says it is a B&B but it is not. Can hear conversations in the adjoining rooms. No TV or radio which can be a way to relax (and get weather info) for some after a day out. A mini fridge would be helpful considering there is no 'breakfast' offered. Nearby private beaches very expensive, small nearby private beach but not very nice.

Breakfast was continental. It was ok but could have provided some fruit. Some restaurants just around the corner served breakfast if you desired more. Coffee, water and alcoholic beverages was readily available in his cozy decorated veranda. It would have been nice if ice was available. Francesco provided nice beach towels for a small price and deposit to take to Blue Moon Beach across the road. He also provided very nice seafood restaurants to go to and taxi service. Francesco was a wonderful host and very helpful! I highly recommend his establishment! Would have been nice to have a small refrigerator in our room, iron and small ironing board, robes. Laundry service not available at Le Serre del Lido but there was a shop a short distance away. They do not provide fast service however, they can take from 3-4 days for a small amount of clothing. I found another shop but it was 2.3 Kms away that provided the service for about 2 1/2 days. The taxi service is available and response however they don't use WhatsApp and had to resort to explain where to pick us up by Google Map the location and used the audio Italian pronunciation. Scooters and bicycles for rent are readily available and public busses for getting around the island.

it a very nice place, near the beach ( you just have to cross the street) and near to the center (3 minutes walk) it is a little expensive

Everything Nothing

Everything was excellent- from very nice location to super comfortable room, but I would like to especially mention the person who worked there (he is owner or manager, I am not sure, but it is not important). He sent me messages to be sure I am safe and know how to come there. When I arrived, it appeared he was ready to answer any my questions til the end of the time if it is needed:) Charming and very hospitable, he made my nice staying even better and I want to especially thank him for that. /

The room was very clean, cosy and quiet. Outside the room, there was a spacious green garden. The host was very attentive and caring, and offered us a great amount of snacks and teas in the room. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for quiet and quality accommodations when visiting Venice. It's located on Lido, which requires water transportation to access. However it's close to the station, so it wasn't that much of an inconvenience for us.

Beautiful quiet location. Set in lovely garden. Ideal for visiting Venice and having a few days by the sea.

Large property with Three units,very private with beach access across the street.The town of Lido is much like San Marco with canals and shops,restaurants in short walking distance.Water Taxi is five minute walk.Francesco was the highlight of staying there,so cheerful and helpful.When you go on the water taxi,don’t miss San Marco,my opinion is the best spot,you’ll see when you get there.I highly recommend this hotel with lots of parking. Venice is surrounded by water and there are mosquito’s so bring some repellent.They didn’t bother me.

The rooms are exquisite: clean, smell nice, comfortable, climate controlled... Furthermore the location couldn't be better: it is right next to the beach. The owner is a very kind man who doesn't hesitate to help you and maje yourself feel at home. Sadly the owner doens't organise a breakfast since covid. There are however small bites in the rooms and there's a minifridge with drinks available.

lovely quirky property very close to the Lido beach. We had a living room which was immaculately clean and resembled a 'Raj style' bungalow. The garden was peaceful. Excellent coffee available in the 'greenhouse' as well as refreshment facilities in the room. Francisco was a lovely host.

My best friend and I were lucky to stay at this wonderful place. The room was spotless and beautifully decorated, and the garden and house were simply magical — so peaceful and serene. Francesco, the host, was incredibly helpful, friendly, and kind. If I return to Lido, I will definitely stay here again!

I likes the host, the room, the garden, the greenhouse lounge, the bathroom, Considering this used to be a plant nursery in the past, I suggest there could be more exotic plants in the garden and the rooms.

Exceptional

Everything was fantastic from the room opening into a beautiful garden to the host’s great hospitality, recommendations and undeniably relaxed mystique of a Lido native. Lucky we had the chance to stay and would go back in a heartbeat.

It was very nice to have a garden to step out in, just outside the room. Beautiful garden, very nice room (I like that it had books even if I brought my own) very nice and helping host. Also an available area to socialize in, if you want. You will see the sea from the gates. No complaints!
