Beautiful place and great host

Puntaferano is a unique adventure 20 mins up in the hills from Sorrento. A drive through the town and then on to dozens of sharp turns on very narrow roads through small villages, you reach a peaceful beautiful place with amazing views of the bay of Naples. The living spaces are spacious, well equipped, comfortable and very clean. The water pressure and temperature has its own mind though. But that was part of the experience, at least for us. Michele, the host of the property is amazing and ready to help with anything. There is parking but getting to it is another adventure. Stay on the call with the host so they can guide you to the right place. Overall, a memorable stay and a unique experience for us. We loved everything. Just make sure you are comfortable driving on narrow hilly roads.

A bit out of town, but nice environment, perfect view from terrace. Comfortable flat, properly equipped kitchen. Friendly owners. There is a grocery store and a restaurant near the house. We had a great time Google always wanted to take us to narrow streets, even the small car we rented barely fitted between the walls. The house is in Arola, perhaps 50 meters back from the Preazzano sign, Some help would be good to find a good way to the house. The street was sometimes noisy.

Beautiful property and very comfortable with an amazing views. You need a car to get to the property and be prepared for very windy narrow roads. Host was very helpful.

Location was perfect for us: far from cities but close enough to visit by car Amalfi coast (Positano, Grottes, etc.) and Naples area (Naples, Pompeii, Sorrento) and different beaches on both sides. There are 3 bathrooms, 3 balconies (2 open and 1 closed) with the stunning view on the sea and mountains. The whole place including the territory is perfectly clean. Altogether it was what we wanted and met our expectations. Just a small comment for those who travel with kids: there is no microwave and no dishwasher, it was not important for us but I imagine it makes a difference for some families.

We were happy with the remote location but it was not easy to find. Our gps took us only halfway up the hill. But we got help with one phonecall to the property. Cleanlyness, the friendlyness of the people at property and the fantastic view.

Beautiful and clean rooms. The kitchen had everything you need to cook yourself. Host was friendly. A few hundred meters from the accommodation was a very good local restaurant, where tourists usually don't go. There was no larger sharp knife in the kitchen to cut bread, for example. There were also no trash cans in the kitchen, they were only outside. The location was in the mountains and the road there was quite difficult. It would be very difficult to get there without a rental car. The noise of passing cars can be heard.

Very gentle host, responsive and helpful. Roads are tight and locals tend to drive fast, you need to be careful while driving

Exceptional

Mike was the host. First of all and their family are really friendly and helpful. Apartment was comfortable and everything works perfectly and located in good place. from balcony, you can witness two hills and ocean view in the middle of both hills. we enjoyed our coffee from that view everyday!. Parking space is available. as we checked in on property very late , it was challenging to identify location first day. if you type property name “Casa Vacanza Puntaferano - Vico Equense”. we recommend you to checkin (first day) before sun goes down else call mike ( he is really attentive towards guest and helpful all the time). we had a battery problem with our rental car , it was jerking Mike was there and ready to provide support with local mechanic if we want. as it was rental car, we have changed the car next day at rental company in sorrento. We stayed 4nights with our kid, everything was great. nothing, we didn’t wish to leave the property

Perfect stay! The host was very kind and made sure we were comfortable. The view is amazing and we could easily travel around the Amalfi Coast from there.
