Il Casale Di Don Matteo

Teresa is such a lovely lady, she was preparing fresh, very tasty breakfast for us every morning and each time it was different, with products from their land. She was very welcoming and made us feel at home! The road to the property is very narrow so we weren't able to drive to it but Matteo kindly gave as access to secure parking area and took us there on the last day with all the luggage! The location of the property is amazing, it's extremely peaceful and beautiful, with a very good aura. We can't thank you enough and hopefully we will come back!

If you want a true Italian experience and want to live like the locals…this is it! Matteo and his parents were wonderful, super responsive and the breakfast was excellent! Boy did we miss it the rest of the trip, lol. Please note that if you’re not driving a tiny car, you will park an easy 7 min walk from the apartment. From here we drive to Sorrento as a hub to Capri, Positano, etc. we also drive to Ravello and Pompeii. We’d definitely return!

Camera molto spaziosa e pulita, con materasso davvero comodo e morbido. Presenza di condizionatore in camera e di frighetto. Bagno moderno, con una doccia molto efficiente. Tutto nuovo, struttura ristrutturata da poco secondo noi. Ottima accoglienza in camera con il limoncello di benvenuto fatto in casa direttamente da loro. Colazione fantastica, con prodotti del loro orto casalinghi davvero freschi, che spaziava sia su dolce che su salato. La migliore colazione che noi avessimo mai fatto, con un'attenzione verso il cliente molto elevata e una gentilezza da parte dei proprietari incredibile.

It is a very beautiful property with a farm in the back which is very peaceful and we had the chance to see the local side of italy. It made our stay memorable.

We were treated like absolute royalty. The breakfast was fresh, authentic and delicious. Don’t fool yourself when considering this place, it’s off the beaten path but offers that truly genuine cultural experience that couldn’t be replicated anywhere else. The have pigs, chickens, turtles, budgys , fruit trees and gardens. I had a hard time leaving, thanks to Matteo and his family for giving us memories that will last a lifetime!!!❤️

A hidden gem if you don’t mind being off the beaten path! A little difficult to find but the host Matteo will guide you very easily. Large, very clean accommodation. Beautiful countryside location just 10 min drive into Vico Equense. The breakfast provided by mamma Theresa is fabulous! Everything fresh from her garden and homemade, seriously you won’t believe the effort she puts into breakfast! Parking for a medium sized car is offsite and about a 7 min walk back to the BnB. Two restaurants within walking distance. 10/10 my family would recommend!

Terrific place with great people. Parking a bit difficult. Very accommodating though. So hospitable with a wonderful breakfast!

This is a great place to stay if you want to get a feel for how local village people live. It's a true immersion into Italian culture and language. Perfect for backpackers and travelers on a budget. Staff was accommodating and friendly, and Teresa is a wonderful cook who served us a 5 course breakfast daily. The indoor room was very comfortable with good storage space and a beautiful ceiling. However, there was insufficient toilet paper, we were provided with one roll for a 2 night stay. I would also caution that it may not be safe to take late evening walks. We noticed stray dogs and a few bats in proximity.

If using a car it must be very narrow to navigate the one lane road. The accommodations is spacious clean and up to date. Breakfast was excellent and abundant. I did not have a car and used the local bus to get to Vico Centrale in about 10/15 minutes. From Vico, I could get to Sorrento, Positano and other town using the circumvesusiana train. Enjoyed the low tourist nature of the town. Would book again.

It was a pleasure staying at this property bus stop near by I will definitely go back in the future.

Havde en skøn overnatning på det lokale bed and breakfast. Smukke, nye værelser. Meget venlige udlejere, der også stod for hjemmelavet morgenmad i den hyggelige går med appelsintræer. Kan varmt anbefale dette sted.

Host Matteo is very friendly and responsive on Whatup. He took care of us and served us breakfast mostly homemade and fresh from his garden. The property is located in a small village 10 minutes drive from Vico Centro. Inside the unit is new and clean. Good shower and mattress. We are very happy with our stay. Thank you Matteo!

도착하기까지의 과정은 쉽지않았지만, 충분히 감수할만한 곳입니다. 직접 만들어서 제공해주신 아침식사는 감동이었습니다. 그리고, 푹 잤어요.

Un havre de paix à recommander. Chambre propre et spacieuse. Les petits déjeuners servis sous la tonnelle au milieu des fleurs sont tout simplement fantastiques. Un grand merci pour votre gentillesse et votre disponibilité. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour.

The pictures do not do this property justice! The rooms are modern, absolutely spotless, have wonderful bathrooms, have high quality A/C, and even the pillows are perfect! Matteo and his family treated us like family, even serving us a 4 course breakfast every day with fresh ingredients from their garden at whatever time was most convenient for us! For the price this is 6 out of 5 stars and you will love staying here.
