Nice and quiet
-
The staff. The breakfast was great! No direct elevator to the parking in the basement And some issues with the card key to the room, It wasn’t working properly all the time and it had to be recharged or replaced.
-
The people were kind. There was no gym and no pool as advertised. They apologized and promised a refund for one night, and I a month later, i still haven’t seen the refund.

Terrible breakfast. No cold milk or butter. Runny scrambled eggs.

I like the location and breakfast, however, this hotel is in desperate need of an update. The carpets throughout the facility look dirty and they smell badly. The bathrooms are of a good size, but they need new faucets, floors, showers, toilets, etc., this is similar to the bedrooms, hallways, and public areas. The personnel in this hotel are very helpful and accommodating. See comment above.

Everything was amazing

I like the location asides the Merga Marga river and walking distance from the beach snd restaurants. Parking are is welcome. Wifi is too slow and breakfast is served too late (7:30 AM) especially if you have an appointment al 8:00 AM o’clock.

I liked breakfast and the view Windows... Our room windows were full of seagull crap, and walking around the hotel I saw more examples of this. Just wash those windows, it looked like nobody washed them since early 2000s.

Nice location , nice stuff , there is electricity in a room , hot water , toilet paper That hotel had to be closed and renovated twenty years ago . Just no go and not recommend to anyone unless it’s last option .

The location is great as well as the staff, very kind and polite. And the breakfast was very complete. I would definitely come back

The location was central and with easy access to most restaurants and the shoreline. The staff were accommodating and friendly in typical Chilean fashion. All lovely, friendly people. On foot the entrance to the hotel is very obscure, with access through an unrelated passage past elevators and shops, not very welcoming under any circumstances. I was booked in to a room in building B which I am sure is only opened up when the main building is fully booked. It meant taking a lift to the 13th floor, climbing 2 sets of stairs and descending a very steep set of stairs on the other side. They should've paid attention to my age when they decided to put me in that building as I am 70 years old and found it hard to negotiate the stairs. My bedroom smelled like sewer, presumably because the bathrooms don't get a regular flush of water and fortunately I was moved to a room in building A where I had asked to be moved once the weekend visitors left Vina Del Mar.

Great location. Staff was exceptional. It’s worn. Badly needs updating. Peeling paint, very dirty carpet. This hotel could be so much better. It has a lot going for it.
-
The bed was comfortable and the room had a practical layout. The staff where very nice. The whole place is shabby and is not a four star standard.

This property might’ve been worth 4 stars in it’s heyday but 40 years down the track it had become neglected and in a poor state of comfort. I was allocated a room in building B which requires climbing 2 flights of stairs. Aged 70 this was difficult enough for me, I would hate to think how a 70 year old in poor health would cope. The rooms in building B clearly get pulled out of the mothballs during busy periods. The rooms smelled like sewerage, the carpet was dirty, and the tiles in the bathroom were cracked and mouldy. The entrance to the hotel was not obvious and down some sort of alley. Too expensive and not recommended. The location was convenient

Central location Very old hotel. Needs renovation
-
The location Property needs an update. One of elevators was out of order every other day. Pool was closed the whole week for maintenance. Card keys to get into our room were always deactivated, and need to go to the lobby every evening to get a new one. They shutdown the water during the night without any warning.
-
Location Better air condition because the room was too hot
-
Heating system was not working well, whilst this was winter and as many buildings in Chile, the hotel was not insulated.

The location and the friendly staff The room doesn’t look like the pictures and the view was not great. Also the WiFI didn’t work at all.
