It is on a hill and the area around is nice, a little far from restaurants and the beach. A little far from the beach and restaurants.

Screens in windows would be nice as there were some mosquitos.

The towels were grayish and felt old, the building itself was very dated with creaky floors, and whenever someone walked on the floor above a room, the noise was really loud. The hairdryer didn’t work.

Excellent place to stay on vacations. The location is save and easy to reach. Breakfast was so good. They served a great proportion. The room was good enough and they have all the facilities that you need.

The location and the breakfast was quite good. The shower: it flooded and one had to be careful.

My room had a view of the streets below and lights at night and was large in a Victorian style. If you're looking for modern book elsewhere. But if you love historic buildings, this is your spot. Property is an old Victorian home from the area's golden era in the late 19th century now converted to B & B Staff is very helpful. No habla Ingles. Value here is excellent. Breakfast is very basic with eggs, breads, fruit, & instant coffee ?

Small breakfast, but was enough to start our day. Quiet place. The heater did not work the first night. The second night we use a space heater.

It was very comfortable and had character. The rooms were well furnished and the art work in the common rooms was tasteful and interesting. The beds were great. Breakfast was very good. My room had a desk and chair which was great for work. My friends did not so you should request that if important. The Wi-Fi was also good The bed was a bit big for the room.

It is hard to like anything when you are lied to and stolen from by the owner. DO NOT STAY HERE. On arrival the owner asked if we would like him to charge us through booking.com. We preferred to use a credit card and agree the amount there and then but he pretended to not be able to (we later saw several credit card machines in the office). All we could do was to confirm a price verbally to ensure it did not include VAT, which foreigners do not pay. Over a week later we were overcharged approxinately 35 US dollars - around 22% higher than agreed, thus including VAT and a further overcharge. Neither the hotel or parent company responded to messages to refund appropriately. Booking.com should not allow hotels to charge more than the agreed price, and have not satisfactorily handled our request for assistance. As well as underhand practices, further reasons not to stay include the reletively expensive price; no 'do not disturb sign'; checking of the room when we left; and, a pretty poor breakfast in which you were given no choice in what fruit, jam, egg or coffee you were given.
