Red Roof Inn Virginia Beach

The room smelled like marijuana when we walked in. The TV did not work, even after being told by the desk clerk that we had to use the input button and switch the hmdi channels, still didn’t work. The sink was not clean and still had hair in it. The counter was not wiped down, there was some sort of dead insect that looked to have been there a while. There was mold and water marks on the back of the bathroom door. The tub looked like a hammer had been taken to the bottom of it. The best thing I can say is the bed was very comfortable once you got past the shin banging metal frame that stuck out about two inches from the mattress on both sides of the bed.

The staff I interacted with while I stayed there were great and very polite. I appreciate you guys. I didn’t have a mini fridge in my room and there was no hand soap in the dispenser and there was no bar soap on the sink. So that was disappointing but overall was a good stay.

The staff allowed me to check in early due to my crises of losing my home due to a fire House keeping didn't check my room none of the days I was there didn't get fresh towels or new sheets for the bed between that time. Sheets could of look a little cleaner overall ok

It was cool for the price.

There was hair stuck in both wash cloths, there was no soap in any dispensers in the shower and the pillow cases were dirty

The location was ideal for my plans. The service for cleaning the rooms was poor.

The air conditioner was extremely noisy and did not cool the room at all—it was basically working like a simple fan. There was also a lot of noise coming from outside, which made it impossible to rest. I could not sleep the entire night. The surrounding neighborhood also felt dirty and unsafe, especially at night. Overall, this stay was a waste of my time and money. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this hotel.

You need to bring all your own rags towel sheets everything one day of stay no hot water for hours said boiler was being fix had to fix internet on tv rags dirty sheets had stains a mess

The price value and pool are amazing. The pet friendliness is a plus. The hotel room itself was in decent respectable condition especially for budget lodging prices. Not enough cleaning staff on duty. My room looked like a few cleaning routines were skipped entirely. Be sure to take few cleaning supplies of your own and a warm extra blanket might help. The linens and the bed are on the thin side, but the linens are clean. Otherwise still an excellent value for people on a tight budget.

Never had breakfast. It was served too late The staff could have had more control over the guests that stayed there. Overall we were unimpressed with how the staff handeled this. There was continuous Fighting and yelling was very hard to even sleep TVs on all night.

Poor service; the reception staff were unfriendly. Also, there was no water in the room, and the TV didn't work

Room was dirty. Precious folks swim trunks were still in there. Room had cockroaches. The shower didn't work most the time I stayed there.

I was charged and I didn't get to booked a room because they had no rooms available I need my funds back
