Extremely lovely hostess! She’ll take great care of you and make you feel right at home, extremely thoughtful with all the amenities-including a communal fridge and a breakfast station. There’s a laundry room for use and plenty of detergent and other toiletries in stock if you find yourself in need.

Nice clean room. Small and serviceable. I think good for young folks. Fun amenities like card table, pool table, tv ti watch sports, fresh coffee and tea and a refrigerator to share. The staff was welcoming and super helpful. Easy access parking.

Very nice lodge. We really enjoyed the common areas, including the game room, dining room and living room that are very nice and welcoming.

Owner was delightful, very helpful. There's lots of resources and shared rooms. There was a nice fire pit along the pond with lights and lots of chairs for a gathering. Everything was clean, and a nice and convenient spot.

Truly lovely lodge tucked into the woods in the middle of the most beautiful Vermont countryside. Surrounded by adorable towns and places to eat, shop and visit. And the staff was AMAZING! Their manager lives on site and was so responsive and lovely. Would definitely go back!

NO LIFT/ELEVATOR BETWEEN FLOORS. NOT ADA COMPLIANT. LOTS OF STEPS. SMALL SHOWER STALL DIFFICULT FOR LARGE ADULTS. SMALL ROOMS without closet, desk, chair, microwave, refrigerator, or coffee maker in it! NO STAFF PRESENT OR AVAILABLE

I stayed overnight at White Horse Lodge while driving thru summertime Vermont -- it was very pleasant. The lodge was easy to reach, everything worked in the room, the bed was comfy, the bathroom was fine (small shower), and the morning coffee was excellent. The manager was on the ball, responding very quickly in the self-checkin sequence and other texts. She was also all over the lodge fixing and cleaning. Nothing -- all was good.

The amenities were thoughtful and convenient, especially the excellent coffee bar and the communal refrigerator for storing food and drinks. The rooms are on the smaller side, and while the property has been updated in many areas, it still shows some wear from what is likely heavy use during ski season since it is so close to Sugarbush Mtn. The location is excellent for getting to Waitsfield and exploring the Mad River Valley. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay, would recommend the White Horse to others visiting the area, and would happily stay here again for a future Mad Marathon weekend.

The management were excellent. The location is remote. The room is small & the bathroom smaller. The shower was less than 3’x3’. Very tight space. No breakfast but a nice setup for a shared kitchen area.
