It was ideal for my business stays. Little bit noisy in evenings.

The breakfast was fantastic & the wait staff very kind & attentive. Overall, good value for money. The Hotel car park. Followed the signs, to find four flights of concrete steps down to reception. Having checked in, four flights up to the second floor room & no lift. In mitigation, the main facility car park was on the same level as the reception so at least I didn't have to drag my suitcases up those steps.

good location within park. Busy and popular. Clean, comfortable bed, helpful staff. Restaurant offering good range of dishes. narrow steep steps up to car park, difficult to manage while carrying suitcase.

Lovely clean room, excellent comfortable bed, good breakfast, well positioned from the main road. Affordable. Beware weddings can take place, and can be noisy when trying to sleep if staying over the weekend. The drive off the road to hotel could be improved, especially when arriving at dusk, directions are minimal. A few guiding spotlights placed strategically placed along the route would help travellers. A few marks on the wall in the corridor, need a fresh coat of paint.

Nice sleeping arrangements, with a lovely restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Stairs outside and inside. Tricky in the rain and with bags.
-
Some mold on the ceiling in bathroom, impersonal check out.

Breakfast, the room size and comfy bed One of the receptionists was a bit grumpy

I liked everything about my stay in Holmfield Arms. There are a couple of things which I would like to suggest for slight improvement: 1. The WiFi in my room was unstable. It went off by itself and my mobile phone would then use its own data to get onto the internet; or I just did not get connected to the Internet which could be quite inconvenient. 2. The bathroom was wonderful. However, the handheld shower head was somewhat restrictive in movement because the hose was 'locked' onto the supporting fixture. Please see above.

I wasn't allowed to check in earlier than 2 PM, and was very little flexibility on the 11 AM check out time.

The staff at reception were so very, very helpful: Ryan, Michelle, Nicki--all of them that we met. They changed our room for us because of mobility, very kind of them. The staff at breakfast were very helpful. My daughter has food allergies, and they were very accomodating. The music at breakfast was too loud.

Nice setting. Food good. No hot water in the bathroom which wasn't good and that spoilt what would have been a lovely stay.

A safe would be great . Bathtub very slippery . A fridge would be good also The staff at breakfast was very unpleasant . All of them .

From the moment we arrived to the point of our departure, the staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The breakfast staff in particular were constantly active and on their toes, missing nothing to make guests welcome and comfortable. The hotel offers an excellent breakfast, the rooms are warm and comfortable. They make a good cappuccino and 2 for £5.90 was a lot less than we have paid at other places. We liked the decor, and there was plenty of hot water. There is plenty of parking and the hotel is well situated for visiting surrounding towns and villages. Some awesome landscapes round about. For us, we can't stand the plastic milk pouches that don't hold enough milk and have a tendency to splatter all over when trying to open them but we managed to surpass the annoyance with our own coffee creamer.

Very clean, charming building that includes a pub convenient for dinner and good hot breakfast included

The rooms were so hot. We all slept badly. It wasn’t even terribly hot weather but the hotel has poor ventilation and no air conditioning.

This hotel is reasonably priced and very comfortable. I had a short stay, but slept well and enjoyed the breakfast in the morning which was very good value. Shower was nice, and the room was a good size and did the job! There was no aircon in my room (unsure of the rest of the rooms) but there was a fan. The room wasn't super hot, just something to consider when staying in warm weather.

everything it was fine.

Food was only served until 9 pm, and could be easily extended by at least 1 hour
