A contemporary bed and breakfast in the heart of Wanaka Village, Te Wanaka offers free WiFi and a fully cooked breakfast made from local ingredients. Activities nearby include fly-fishing, hiking and skiing. The rooms at Te Wanaka feature their own private bathroom and small private balcony. Bathrobes are provided, along with natural toiletries. All rooms offer a flat-screen TV. The Lodge has a hot tub and spa available to guests. In-house expert massages are available. In the winter months, Te Wanaka operates as a full-service ski lodge with traditional European-style Après-ski in the evenings. The slopes at Treble Cone, Cardrona, and Waiorau Snow Farm are under a half-hour drive away.

Lovely upper floor room. Decent size room, bed and TV :) Could have been more counter space in bathroom, but that is a very minor thing overall :)

We loved that the Te Wanaka Lodge was in close proximity to all of the restaurants and shops. The staff was also super helpful and there was parking on site.

Electric blanket was broken. We told the staff and they appreciated the feedback. I suspect it will be fixed the next time we visit.

nice and clean. well furnished with attention to details only thing that's missing is the bin in the room. didnt find it lol. has to use the bathroom bin for all the rubbish

Staying here was very pleasant. The staff were very friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The facilities were nice and the location was perfect. There was nothing I did not like. Everything was nice!

We made good use of the “private” hot tub. A reservation was required but we never found anyone else using the hot tub. We also used the upper or lower lounge areas depending on if anyone else was in one or the other. The breakfasts were good. The location was about 100m from a tremendous variety of food truck options for dinner. A bar fridge in our room would have been nice.

Wonderful stay from start to finish. Friendly staff, helpful with suggestions for activities, cozy room, and very enjoyable breakfasts with standard continental fare plus a bonus freshly cooked item each day (pancakes one day, eggs and bacon the next). Very convenient to town, restaurants, shopping, and the lakefront is just a short walk away.

Clean, shower room can be closed which is very important for me to avoid floor wet Lodge does not have kitchen, should go to open area

Not a big thing, but had emailed ahead to ask if there was a fridge and microwave in the room, and got a reply saying there wasn't a microwave but there was a communal fridge people could use. When we got there we found out there was also a communal microwave. We'd brought food to put in the fridge as staying over Christmas we knew there wouldn't be anything open (including pubs, restaurants) but we would have brought stuff we could have heated up if we had known.

The shower drain is not working, and you get a scraper to push the water into the drain. This sink accumulates water also before it drains.

Excellent, helpful staff. Close to the food carts, and the lake. Within walking distance. The hot tub was not available, which was extremely disappointing. The whole reason why I paid extra for this accommodation was the availability of a hot tub.
