Lake Wanaka Lodge

Very good

Good location, a short walk to town. Very nice outdoor seating area with hot tub if requested. Beautiful gardens with a stream running under the lodge. Bathroom was dated but the room was clean. No complaints.

Excellent location with parking and comfortable room Stairs to get to bedrooms no lift for getting cases up the stairs.

Beds were comfortable. Room was a bit dated but fine for Staff member was quite difficult to deal with at the start but warmed up in the end and managed to accommodate us. No information in the room about facilities in the area or motel

Great location a short walk from the water front and restaurants. Friendly owner and clean room. Nice gardens if you want to sit out in the evening. The shower head kept falling on you which made washing awkward. The room was pretty cramped and stuffy with two people and our luggage.

The rooms were spacious and the bathroom facilities were sufficient. We had two rooms that supposedly had double beds, but the beds were in fact two single beds put together. And not just the base of the beds, which often is the case, they had chosen to put double sheets over two single mattresses to try and create a double bed. However, this just created a big dip were the two mattresses met, and made for quite uncomfortable sleeping arrangements. The rooms were also not particularly clean, it was very noisy and the staff on reception were best described as children (literally!!) who couldn't provide assistance when required. We also had a complete power cut in the morning which the staff didn't provide any explanation or assistance in relation to.

Nice big room. Great beds. Walkable to the lake front. A bit tired throughout. Room was very hot. There was a small fan provided but it didn't make much difference. Room was upstairs with no lift.

The unit was nice and clean. Friendly staff on the front desk. The unit was a little stuffy and hot, and only a small fan was provided. A bigger one is needed as you can't get any cross breeze due to the door opening into an inside hallway. The shower door is rather stiff.
