On a note of need for improvement is that It is not ADA friendly when it comes to getting from Garden area to The Reception Pavilion. Either a flight if stone stairs or up a grassy hill ( no path) and then leaving the Pavilion you have a raised wooden walk to parking lot that was poorly light ( Had lights only on a small part of walk). Very hard to see. Again Great service Staff. We had two gentlemen(staff) assist with umbrellas but no flash lights.. So again, so happy with our stay. The buildings and ADA room we had no problems with. Thank you

However, the room was lack luster and very plain. The property states that it is very green friendly, but that doesn’t quite equate into what we encountered. We had to run the shower for 10 minutes or more to get somewhat warm water. The tissues were so thin that we had to use several at a time, wasting paper. The A/C was stuck on cold, and we literally froze. We told the front desk, but I guess our stay wasn’t long enough to get these issues resolved. If they are truly green conscious, they really need to focus on the little things that make a big difference. We especially hate wasting water, so the shower was a big negative for us. If these issues are addressed, the Airlie would be a worthwhile place to stay.

The grounds are beautiful. Great activities. The bicycles are a plus. Really a great experience The pillows were thick and it was hard for my husband and I to sleep with them

Nice updated room, wonderful and friendly staff, beautiful grounds with gardens and walk trails. Nice onsite restaurant. Overall a great experience and would definitely come back.

Loved my stay at the property. Everything was excellent. So much better than your average lodging. The grounds are stunning.

Just the natural beauty!! The ponds, the swans, the greenery! Parking… no parking at the restaurant & not enough parking near our room.

The land. Rooms are small, stuffy and smelly. HVAC unit works well, but its very noisy. Experience absolutely not worth the high price. Hotel in Paris, France was cheaper and much, much nicer. This room felt like somebody's finished basement. We talked to other guests and all.of them were disappointed with their rooms.

The property grounds are absolutely beautiful with multiple cottages, gardens, lakes, and outside seating areas by the water. Harry's Restaurant on site has great food and a lovely outdoor seating area where you can watch the ducks, geese and white swans float by. Unfortunately, the lodging in the main two-story building is nothing special and does not match the exquisite property. We had just a one-night stay so didn't get to use the amenities and activities.

What a lovely place to stay and visit. The grounds were beautiful and well-kept. The staff was great. The amenities were what you could expect at a much bigger resort property.

We were double charged for our room initially, which they finally refunded. However, the room we stayed in cost quite a bit for it to have bugs flying around in it, dirty curtains and light fixtures hanging out of the ceiling.

Cons: The lack of modernization is starting to show. My biggest concern was the lighting; many areas of the property are quite dark at night, which felt like a significant safety issue. Additionally, be prepared for a lot of stairs. If you have heavy luggage or mobility concerns, navigating the layout is difficult. Bottom Line: It’s a lovely setting, but it really needs an upgrade in terms of lighting and accessibility before I would consider returning.
