Capitol Hill Hotel

Enjoyed our stay, great location.

We chose this hotel because of location. The staff is friendly, the rooms are nicely furnished with a modern feel. Everything was clean and fresh. Walkable to restaurants and bars.We would absolutely stay here again.

Friendly

Older building however amenities were decent. Building was clean and there were plenty of towels and rags provided. The staff was helpful and kind.

The staff went above and beyond every time we needed them. The property was clean, and comfortable.

Staff was amazing. Extremely helpful and courteous. Room was clean and modern Breakfast every morning that included 2 types of eggs , sausage, hash browns, waffles, fruit, coffee, juices, ……and more….excellent. Excellent water pressure in the shower with plenty of hot water I would definitely stay here again

The hotel is near everything. It's located in a nice neighborhood. The employees of this hotel make it great! Everyone I encountered was incredibly friendly and helpful. For that alone, I would make this my place to stay on all future trips to DC. The room was nicely appointed. The bed was comfortable. And it was very affordable. I cannot believe how great it all was for the price we paid. To the employees, keep up the great work! You are amazing and so kind. I almost forgot, the breakfast was delicious, and there was so much to choose from. There's also coffee, tea, and water available in the lobby.

Room was very clean. Staff was professional and very polite. Breakfast was good. Parking is limited, however there is free street parking next to the hotel, but could be towed if not moved in time.

Continental breakfast was good, but they ran out of some food on day one so it was limited for the remainder of our stay. Room was very clean and the staff was very helpful. Great location with easy access to the metro and the restaurants.

Clean room, clean bathrooms. The included breakfast was great with a good variety, front desk and breakfast staff were all very friendly and helpful. Easy walking distance to many places that we wanted to see (Museums mainly)... Would recommend

Superb

The staff were all so friendly and welcoming. We were able to check in early, which was extremely helpful and convenient. The room was overall clean, but there were a few stains on the carpet, and some things were just outdated. We did not take advantage of the breakfast, so I cannot comment on that. Overall, it was a comfortable and convenient stay.

This hotel is located in an excellent location. Close enough to attractions but far enough away for less traffic. We had to wait a long time to check in, there was no one at the desk. Valet was very confusing and you had to leave your car unsafely for your turn. Where they parked them was scary also. The room was so so. The bed was very hard, the shower didn’t drain and the toilet ran the entire time. The towels were stained and didn’t seem clean. The door didn’t fit the frame so there was a noticeable gap between the door and the frame, which made the noise very loud. The continental breakfast is advertised as part of the special rate, but actually it’s $30 per person and not optional. It’s the same food each day and definitely not worth $30. Overall not very comfortable and very disappointing.

Note: It is house in two buildings that do not have a passway between. Will need to walk short distance back outside from main building after check in or to get your vehicle if assigned to the 2nd building.

From the moment we arrived, I felt welcomed and appreciated. It is rare to find a place that combines such a distinctive setting with such warm hospitality. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and look forward to returning again in the future. Highly recommended!
