Great location and vibe!
-
Great place for the family too!
-
Very nice accommodations and close to the Monument!

The rooms are a bit on the cozy side, but in a building this gorgeous, I’m willing to call it “historic charm” rather than “limited square footage.” Beautiful hotel, wonderful people, great food, and the kind of hospitality that makes you want to come back. We definitely will! *Beware of the extra fee that you have to pay if you book your stay not directly with the hotel.

This is a nice hotel, but it needs an uplift. Staff were great. Location is excellent.
-
Great front desk staff.
-
Great hospitality from when you pull up till you leave. Friendly and personal, not scripted and robotic.
-
Very luxurious establishment all around, our new favorite for the DC area.

Very cool and uniquely decorated rooms. Great bar and drinks. Love the old bank theme. Stayed here for our anniversary and they had some nice complimentary desert. Would gladly come back

The stay started on a disappointing note. I arrived around 3:30 p.m., understanding that official check-in was at 4:00 p.m. However, well after 4:00, my room was still not ready, and there seemed to be very little communication between housekeeping and the front desk regarding when it would become available. I ultimately had to inquire three separate times before the situation was resolved. While waiting, I was directed to the hotel’s cocktail area, where I had two drinks. Given the extended wait, I do think offering to cover a cocktail would have been a nice service-recovery gesture. That said, I want to give the team credit for how they ultimately handled the situation. I was upgraded to a suite and welcomed with a glass of champagne, which was very much appreciated and certainly helped turn around the start of the stay. From that point forward, the overall experience was good. The hotel itself is beautiful, stylish, and well located, and I enjoyed my accommodations. However, for me, the service didn’t quite reach the level that would make the stay truly memorable or exceptional. With so many excellent hotels in Washington, DC at a variety of price points, I’m not certain that I would choose Riggs again. I enjoyed my stay overall and appreciated the upgrade, but I would likely explore some of the other luxury and boutique opti

Property and lovely staff! Would definitely stay here again. Small exception- bathroom is small so movement can be tight. Nothing that will deter us from staying here again.

Pleasant staff. Great central location in DC. Well appointed room s.
-
Gorgeous space. Great location, walkable to many central museums. Pleasant staff was very helpful. The restaurant is beautiful (that early morning light!) and the food great. Looking forward to returning soon!

well done everyone.

This hotel is nothing short of spectacular. Not only are the accommodations beautiful, but the staff cannot be beat. Megan, Katyce, and Coach from the hotel dream made my stay memorable and were incredibly kind from the moment I walked in. Isaiah from Cafe Riggs was attentive and patient with all of my dining needs. This hotel was right across from the American art museum and a quick walk to the other museums. Cannot wait to come back and stay here again!

I was disappointed by the room service. I ordered $11 fries which ended up being $32 after tax, tip, and an $8 charge labeled ‘other’ - when I asked the person who delivered it what that was, he said tax and tip, but there was already an additional line item for tax and a gratuity line. Anyway, just not very transparent, but I begrudgingly accepted it as part of the ‘luxury” experience. The bed and bedding were EXTRAORDINARY - the type of sleep you remember and try to duplicate Lol Didn’t love the bathrobe or slippers and bathroom was small

We had a wonderful time at Riggs Washington DC. It is one of the top notch hotels in downtown DC. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The highlights of our stay were at Cafe Riggs. Every meal we ordered was amazing and prepared to perfection. On top of it, the staff in the restaurant were very attentive to details. We are already looking forward to our next visit.
