Great location if you want to explore the city. Good value for the price. No tv in the room tho. So bring your speaker.

Decor The landline was unplugged, when i plugged it in it did not work The tub was too big, too high for my senior aunt to use. The blinds did not close, the rod was missing.

Charming hotel with good restaurant and lounge.

This place had amazing charm. We enjoyed the vintage style and cosy feel. It felt very old world. The lounge and dining room made us feel like we were in an exclusive secret place in DC. Close to everything. Highly recommended!

I did have breakfast one day, they give you a discount coupon. The entire breakfast was scrumptious! And the best donuts I may ever have had. Bottom line it is a lot to weigh when picking a hotel.

The location was great, we were able to walk to the white house and there were lovely restaurants nearby . The room was well appointed, spacious and clean. It was a little dark and eclectic than we would have liked, parking next door was expensive I wonder if it would have been ok to park on the street. unfortunately the beds weren't that comfortable.

Def had an admirable theme. Location was great. Booking / checking process is easy I didn’t mind the visual aesthetic or even the old rickety furniture, but the dank mildew/body odor smell and the old/faulty sockets (would not charge my phone) made the experience less than adequate. For this reason I would not recommend. A minor investment to improve infrastructure would go a long way.

Clean room, good staff.

The biggest downside is that there is no elevator. Our room was two floors up, and the only way to reach the stairs was by walking through the restaurant, which was inconvenient, especially with luggage and a dog. The room also didn’t have a refrigerator. Overall, a lovely stay with great staff, but the lack of an elevator may be challenging for some guests.

The furniture was both beautiful and comfortable and the room was very clean The showers were extremely cold

It is a lovely and clean older building which is nicely maintained. Interesting art is everywhere including the bedroom. We had a nice clean room with no tv and a window unit air conditioner, which for us was fine. It was a walk up and one of the nice young men took my suitcase up to the second floor. The dining room is beautiful with excellent service and the food is wonderful. The Inn is near DuPont Circle.
