Econo Lodge Watertown

The place is overgrown with weeds around the entire property. As we drove up to it it looked like it was closed and no longer in operation. The place full of weeds 3-4 foot high. We could not get the room door open because the handle was stuck. This place needs to be removed from Expedia. Never again will we stay there. I told the manager that the place looked auwful and other people in the lobby were speaking up and agreeing with me! There is no elevator so we had to carry everythis up a flight of stairs. That is certanly not senior citizen friendly! VERY VERY DISAPOINTED!!!!!!!!

Our room was very clean, but the hallway, stairs and garbage looked like they had been neglected. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was great. All in all a great place to stay for an affordable price.

Family environment

Location and familiarity. We had to switch rooms upon checking in. The room was dirty. The bed was clean but that was it. I did a quick glance at the 2nd room and I should have actually looked. We were tired and just dumped our bags on the floor and sat down. About an hour later I was unpacking and found a plastic fork on the floor beside the dresser. Then I pulled the small chair away from the corner of the room to sit down. And there was a t-shirt in the corner. It does not seem they vacuum the floors, only broom them. I did not tell my gf my findings of the 2nd room because I didn't want to try getting a refund and move rooms or locations after being in the room for an hour. If the location is reading this I left the shirt in the corner. Hopefully it's not still there.

The front desk people were amazing I can't thank them enough for the help they did before I arrived and after I got there. Everything was great..

Room was small. Hard to get the faucets on . Need some kind of safety precaution mat in the bathtub. Had a hard time getting out, kept slipping even with the bar. The free breakfast wasn't that great. Need more variety.

Clean, quiet, well maintained, a better than average motel breakfast. Really hard to beat for value.

The room was spacious and clean. We were on the second floor and it was quiet. The beds are comfortable. Location is easy to find and close to restaurants and shops.

The room, very dated. BRING SANDALS OR SLIP ON SHOES! You DO NOT WANT YOUR SKIN TOUCHING The carpet . Carpet in my room was sticky and damp AND SOOOO DIRTY. The room smelled moldy and damp. The hallways have dehumidifiers, air fresheners, and it still smell like a swamp. In the room furniture torn and dated. Edges of furniture with pieces of wood missing. ( room 119) . The back door has no lock/security. There are vagrants around building smoking and sleeping. The weeds around entire building half way in height of building. It’s just plain gross. I won’t stay there again despite the price.

Rooms were a pit..terrible place..needs a total rehab but owners too cheap..place is crap.
