The Bayrischer Hof has been owned by the Platzer family since 1949. It is a traditional yet modern hotel, comfortable for business travelers, holiday makers and families alike. The hotel offers a calm and friendly atmosphere.The restaurant is open from Monday to Friday from 05.00 pm to 09.30 pm and offers local and regional dishes, Austrian beef steaks and international cuisine. The restaurant is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. Guests can also enjoy a fine variety of regional and international draft beers, as well as the best Austrian wines. Buffet breakfast includes homemade jam, cakes, bread and juices. The hotel is just 656 feet from the train station and a 15-minute walk from the city center.

The size of the room was fine. The shower is nice. There was a picture of a naked women on the wall which we thought was strange for a family room.

Amazing family suite, super spacious and comfortable. The staff was really friendly and welcoming.

The breakfast was excellent! Very diverse and nourishing. The room was pretty cold with the minimum amount of heating. It was unpleasant especially after taking a walk on a rainy day in Wels.

We came at 23:50, receptionist has waited for us. We are family of 5, we were very tired, and he was so kind, fast, and in 1 minute already in our room. Room was with 4 beds, perfect for us. Hot water, towels, and parking behind the hotel. It would be great that they have family breakfast price, 5 of us 17 euros is too much. But 5 for 30-40, would be great, breakfast could be smaller.
