Hotel needs a update

The pool was out of service, I booked it so the kids could play in the pool

Just a place to sleep.

Expedia booked, but not able to expedia cancel. No working pool, something I really wanted, and having other maintenance issues. Plus a bit remote from stores, life. Hotel was willing to cancel but needed to hear from Expedia. No human. Chose not to stay. And ate the cost of it.

We stayed here because it was supposed to have a pool and hot tub. We were unable to use either because they were out of order. Would not have booked here if we would have known this.

Rooms clean and comfortable. Breakfast had very little available - no milk, no eggs, no yogurt, no bagels or pastries, only apple juice that tasted nearly spoiled to drink. When I asked for water, I was told I could buy some from the vending machine from the only staff member I could find. When arriving and leaving, staff was away from front desk with no way of notifying anyone we were looking for help. We had to wait many minutes to actually check in. Pool was “closed for maintenance,” as was women’s restroom. Front lawn had grass nearly knee high, clearly not maintained.

The air conditioner in the bedroom was very loud and annoying, but earplugs resolved that. Other than that it was a pleasant stay.

Room was beyond nasty! The sheets on the one bed had food on them when the sheets got pulled back, the heater made a loud noise all night long. My daughter spilled something on the floor and when I use a wash clothes to wipe it up,the wash clothes was black. The window was so dirty you could not see out of it. The room was very very beat up, if it would not have been nine o'clock at night when we arrived we would have left. Do not waste your money here at all. Room 101 gross.

Property just needed to be updated. It was clean and staff was helpful..

Not horrible, not great, Odors in the hallways, questionable cleaning of rooms, wouldn't book again.

The hotel inside looked cleaned. The room was clean too. The bed and pillows not comfortable at all. Pillows were small and almost flat. Kept asking for a couple more pillows to make our night little more pleasant, but staff couldn’t find any extra for us. The tube will flood every time we took a shower. There is NO complementary breakfast. Location was good close to gas station, restaurants and highway. I honestly wouldn’t stay here again and I don’t recommend it.

Room smell like cigarettes and water tv didn’t work.

The room had a musty smell. It was cold when we entered into the room. I had some breathing difficulties due to the smell and the stairs. I won't be staying there in the future.

The door on the 1st floor was broken and kept slamming when someone entered it. $130-$170 a night is way overpriced for this outdated hotel.

Room was not clean. No water in vending machine. Stairs to go to the room. My wife is handicapped.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, which is always nice to encounter. However, there was musty smell throughout the whole property, and especially in the room which was on the sunken first level. The were stains throughout the bathroom and the room felt humid and moist no matter how we adjusted the controls. We were relieved when it was time to check out.

Never anyone at the front desk and when you can reach them, service is horrible. Turn down Service requests are inexistant.

Location was great and pet friendly. A block away from the 235 and close to the venue we were at. Lots of grassy areas around to bring the dog to. Unfortunately, the room was dirty. Walls and ceilings stained. Floors felt more gross than a normal hotel floor. Only two pillows per bed, and one had makeup on the pillow case. Stayed 2 days and there was very little to eat for breakfast both days. I don't normally leave bad reviews but when my family left ahead if time on the second day with our dog (only I stayed the second night) I was charged a pet fee for 2 days. I explained that my dog would not stay a second night, was there less than 24-hours, and had already left with my family earlier in the day. They stated that since the dog was still there after check-out time on the first day (as my family was packing up to leave) I had to pay for a second night. Further, I learned that management (not housekeeping) had entered my room while we were temporarily gone, even though I had asked that nobody enter my room (my son is autistic and has a fear of strangers coming in when we arent there) and let my dog out into the lobby. I stated that if a bad review was worth a $33 pet fee to them, that would be further evidence of poor management and a disinterest in customer satisfaction, repeat business, and word-of-mouth marketing. So here I am, leaving an honest review about a gross, dirty MOTEL charging the prices of a hotel, nickel and dining its patrons, not respecting their privacy and giving little more than roof over your head in return.

Pool was closed for maintenance our full three day stay with no communication. Bathtub didn’t have any stopper. A/C was incredibly loud. Stains on sheets and just dirty conditions, very few outlets. Locks on doors did not seem safe or well maintained, especially to adjoining rooms. Breakfast was minimal and poorly labeled. I would not stay here again.
