Marriott's Ocean Pointe

Great property, very clean and friendly staff.

The pools are very warm and kind of gross. We watched one corner of the pool collect some sort of gelatinous goo. We also saw chunks of hair floating by. It seemed like there was an issue with the filter or drains because some of the sand washing stations were flooded too. Additionally, there are four towers, but there seems to be only one beach access for the first 4 towers. The activities were very spread out and during odd times. For instance, there was a live DJ one day at the pool, and the next day it was quiet. Karaoke was one night and when a lot of people were at dinner. The gym had two benches but one was taken away. Also, there was no room to do floor exercises, stretches, or yoga, and there was only one leg machine (lots of cardio, though). They were doing construction, so we couldn't use the pool table or ping pong table, and they blocked off parking spaces for the workers. Check in was awful and no AC. Overall, had I known what I know now, I would've stayed down the street. We made the best of the beach and large accommodations, but there was a lot that didn't justify the price.

Was told waterfront got water view partially if you can say that. I looked at the parking lot. Construction trucks all day long right outside our door. Asked for higher floor got 2nd floor. Besides that very beautiful property great staff and bartender's . The beach is amazing but bring your own chairs and umbrella they are expensive. Just make sure you know what you’re getting. Would come back. 👍

The space was large and clean and came equipped that everything we needed - they thought of everything. The pools were clean and there the area was large enough not to feel overcrowded.

I expected a completely different experience based on the description and pictures, but the reality was far from it. The lack of cleanliness and organization made our stay very uncomfortable. Sadly, I would not recommend this hotel. Definitely not what we expected and a very poor experience overall

Check in apparently is not at 4, even though that is what is says on Expedia. Be prepared to get into your room late into the evening.

Excellent customer service. Staff are courteous.

Room never cleaned. Garbage and towels had to be left in hall. Staff non-responsive. Manager at check out apologized at check-out and comped some charges and said “short-staffed”

Very nice place. Great for families, very clean and a lot to do with kids. The activities center is amazing the ladies there are so nice. We will be back for sure.

Si Ud mira el anuncio que le ofrecen estadía en villas, debe saber que hay una probabilidad de que lo manden con su familia al último edificio que está fuera de la propiedad principal. Esta vez nos pasó. Ud quedará lejos del restaurant, de las piscinas grandes, de la tienda y de las actividades. No hay conexión entre edificios. Le dicen que por la playa camina de una propiedad a otra en 5 minutos y no es verdad. Ud tendrá que caminar sobre la arena ondulada y a mitad de camino estará tirando piedra de donde lo pusieron y decidirá caminar con todos sus elementos por la calle ida y vuelta durante su estadía. En este último edificio Ud tendrá una piscina pequeña y un bar, en un ambiente relajado, tranquilo, sin ruido ni música. Así que será perfecto si busca una escapada retirado sin actividad. Las villas están muy bien equipadas, y amplias. Es importante hacer saber que este último edificio tiene un problema de estructura que el management debe estar al tanto. Le cobrarán por el parqueo diario.

Loved staying here. Was very family friendly and had a sense of home. Will love to return in the future!

Great location. Beautiful property. Needs a little maintenance. Check-in was a little rough. Rooms were not ready. Staff was friendly!
