Location was perfect Rooms very small and was noisy

Close to the sea . Small room, inconfortable bed and dirty rooms....no air conditioner, just a small fan,

I strongly recommend that you think twice before booking this hotel. For me, it was a huge waste of money and one of the worst choices I have made. I stayed here for 4 days, and during my entire stay the room was not properly cleaned. I repeatedly asked the staff to clean the room because my son is allergic to dust, and every time they told me they would do it. However, when I returned from the beach, the room still had not been cleaned. The rubbish was not removed either, even though I repeatedly asked them to take it away. I also called reception asking for fresh towels. They would say “yes”, but in reality, there was almost no chance of actually receiving them. The hotel itself is very old, dusty and poorly maintained, and cleanliness was one of the biggest problems during our stay. My son had two allergy episodes during our stay, which was extremely upsetting for me as a mother. I explained the situation to the staff, and although they acted as if they understood and felt sorry for us, their actions showed absolutely no urgency or genuine effort to solve the problem. Unfortunately, some members of staff—not all—were also extremely unpleasant and unprofessional. The breakfast staff were particularly disappointing. When we went to eat breakfast, some of them looked at us with an attitude and made us feel completely unwelcome. Basic politeness and hospitality were seriously lacking. I am writing this review so that other families, especially those travelling with children, can make an informed decision. Please be very careful before spending your money on this hotel. Based on my experience, I would never stay here again and would not recommend it to anyone. The money I spent here was simply not worth it.

The view from the window. Cleanliness. appreciate it's a old building with limitations on redesign, but the carpets are dirty especially on the stairs and in the lifts. We asked for the room to be serviced, and all that was done was the bed remade, and fresh towels, but only one hand towel, and no anti slip mat in the shower. Biscuit crumbs were left, which were there when we arrived. Coffee and milk were not replenished, and only one tea spoon. The soap dispenser in the shower was broken and needed replacing. Stains in the sink and toilet basin. When it was mentioned on checkout, nobody seemed to care. Breakfast, never any croissants available, the milk dispenser was old, rusty in places, and could do with replacing. fridge didn't seem to work, as yoghurt was warm and curdled. Although we like dogs, they should not be allowed in the dining area, or at least there should be a designated area for dog owners to dine.

Good location 10 mins walk to centre of beach and town Parking is not good they demand your car keys to keep moving your car, on 2 occasion I had to sort out my wing mirror and they did not close them and were knocked out of line. There is no key control your key is in a unlocked draw with no record of use. We felt like prisoners and could not use car as we liked and were trapped. Bathroom was not cleaned items left in from previous user and shower gel empty. Broken window in room and broken vanity basin in bathroom. No hair dryer and when asked for one I was treated like a lier as they wanted to inspect my room before giving me one. Hot breakfast was good but continental was extreamly poor 5 crossants on plate if your lucky. Tables were cleaned quickly of plates but not once did i see the table tops being wiped when cleaned with sanitiser just a dry cloth at times.

Entertainment and bar staff were lovely - salt of the earth people. Location was really great. It was oversold and over priced. I had to take the “sofa bed” and it was the cheapest piece tat I’ve ever seen. It was one that folds in the middle and doesn’t have a mattress and it was also on the wonk so I kept rolling out of it. They gave me a nasty topper after I mentioned it - it did nothing. I didn’t sleep for the 2 nights we were there and my back is still hurting.

Food was good. Very small room.Old wooden floor,could hear everything from the neighbors.

A nice room, albeit small but we booked at short notice. Sea view a bonus. Clean. A good selection of cooked food, pastries, fruit, cereals, juices, tea and coffee, for breakfast. A varied selection of food in the evening from the bar. Staff friendly, helpful, polite. A good quiz and bingo offered at the weekend. Fun atmosphere in the bar, and well attended. Would definitely stay at The Jubilee again. Thank you Tap leakage in bathroom with faulty washer, meant water running down back of pedestal. Big puddle on floor. Reported to Reception. Attended by Maintenance.

The room we had was enormous. Only downside was we were directly on the front so a little noisy at times. Lovely location though. Breakfast was yummy and they even gave the dogs their own treats Car parking roulette. I understand why as the space is very small, but just a tad awkward

On arrival it looked cheap and run down, was greeted by a barking dog and drug users staying there trying to sell us drugs, not good at all especially with my child. Our room was right at the top in the roof, very cramped. It was extremely hot and unbearable even with two fans by my bed. It felt like it was a last moment put me up room that shouldnt be used for a room. The shower was tiny and I'm only 5,6 the light came off the wall. Downstairs felt like i was on show on a CBBies programme with mr tumble. It's the worst hotel iv ever had to stay in.

Position was great Onsite parking is a nightmare

Took my parents 92 and 88 on holiday sea view lovely, but very noisy due to heat and windows open.. Small lifts.
