Courtyard by Marriott Wichita East

Worked great for us as we were going to the hospital across the street. An extra $20 per night “incidental” fee or something like that. Probably should mention that before we arrive.

The staff and breakfast were great!

In the middle of a remodel, I think that should be disclosed when you're booking honestly. The hotel was a total disaster on the main floor, couldn't get in through the main doors, really just a total hassle. In fairness the room itself was okay, but the TV wasn't working and overall it was just a 'meh' experience. I just think it's super lame when the hotel doesn't tell you it's remodeling. I know you're trying to make revenue WHILE you're remodeling, but that's lame. Suck it up, close down, do your work, and don't put it on your customers to walk through construction hallways and dirt and dust and closed parking lots and all that.

courtyard by marriot-east wichita, ks - going thru renovation/construction But the 3/4 progress present when i checked in - excellent job - going thru GREAT IMPROVEMENTS- my room was immaculate-bathroom looked BRAND NEW-finishing renovation projects all of ground floor - lobby area - even there computer system replaced by a more updated version - had some "kinks" in it - but the hotel staff were so excellent customer service provided including housekeeping - next time i arrive (couple of months LOL) everything should be completed-resulting in a very nice hotel-ABSOLUTELY would be back at courtyard by marriot-wichita, ks - thank u so much!

One staff member was quite nice. I was overcharged a night. I had to change rooms due to adding a night. They charged me both rooms. They absolutely did not fix it and two staff members told me on seperate days it was fixed. I paid $150 for a night I never stayed. It was bogus. It also says nothing online about the extensive loud and messy construction. I would care less about that but I had a lot of money taken from me with this stay and I'll never do Marriott again.

Massive construction going on, considering how inconvenient it is and the level of construction going on, I would have not stayed here at full price. I wish they would have informed of this during booking. I could have stayed at a much nicer place for around the same spend

Hotel was under MAJOR construction. So there was no “bistro”. There were nails sticking out of the carpet and cut my daughter’s foot. The door had a huge gap underneath and on the side causing all of the hallways noise ( including ice maker and elevator) to come into the room. Positive note: staff was always pleasant and helpful

We had to leave the hotel at 5:15 am, so didn’t use the restaurant. The construction going on was a bit disruptive. We were surprised when we drove up and the entire front was under construction. Also, in side the lobby was all covered off & being re-done. We feel like there should have been some communication about this & maybe even a discount, instead of $114 a night.

Expedia failed to mention that the hotel was in the process of renovations, and the price was ridiculous even if the renovations weren’t in progress, not using them anymore.

It would have been nice to know mostly everything was under construction.

Great location for travelers

Regardless, staff was pleasant and helpful, location was good and I suspect by the end of the summer it will be back to 100%.

Property is under massive construction. It would have been nice to know that before. Not their fault just poor communication. Staff was great.

We went when the hotel was under construction so everything was closed in the hotel

It was great, only provided lower stars as they are renovating majority of rooms at this time. However my moom and family were great, spacious, and clean. Staff was amazing and friendly

Major renovations underway during my stay but that aside, everything was good. Did not buy the breakfast.

Even though it is under construction it was clean No dislikes
