Sea Scape Inn

On arrival, my room was clean but dated. Frayed sofa cushion. Bathroom tile and tub colors from the 70’s. Air conditioning was an in wall unit. AC needed to be turned on manually. I arrived Friday no issues with AC. Saturday night when I went to turn on the AC the carpet was soaked below the unit. There was no visible leak. Too late to report. Sunday morning there was no one in the office at 9 am even though the office sign said return at 9 am. I called and told management about the leak. When I returned later that evening, management had put down two bath mats. Soaking wet carpet still. On check out, manager told me that I would not be held responsible for leak. I asked for a partial refund. Answer we are sorry NOTHING done. Zero stars

An older hotel but close to boardwalk. Clean and decent. The AC is old and didn’t do a very good job cooling the room but was hotter than usual and was gone most of the weekend. Very quiet room. The pool is quite small and more than 3 or 4 people and it’s crowded. But was cute and people seemed to enjoy it (I did not go into the pool). Parking was tight and on a Saturday night in the middle of summer, there weren’t any extra places. But the rest of the weekend was fine and they do have some garage parking, which was very nice. All in all, a decent, family owned hotel that was clean and quiet. One item: this is the first hotel I stayed in that did not have a hair dryer available. So if you book this place, bring your hair dryer!

Chris at the front desk was extremely helpful and made us feel at home. The pool was sparkling and the room was as well. One block from the sandy shoreline and the perfect strolling distance to the boardwalk, an art park and cafe, playgrounds and two bicycle rental shops!

It was so close to the beach. The pool was so clean. The owner was AMAZING and super helpful.

Our suite was on the 3rd floor with no elevators. As someone with 2 knee surgeries and heart issues, this was difficult for me.
