Room was clean. The staff was pleasant and helpful. I would stay here again.

The bed was very comfortable, the pillows were just right for me. Alot of hotels I ve stayed at, the pillows are to darn big. The only turn off was when we entered the room for the first time, it kind of had a smell to it, not fresh, damp smelling, maybe from being poolside. And the lighting is kind of dim, not brite. Coffee in the lobby was very delicious!

Front entrance torn up. Chair in room was worn.

Staff was friendly and attentive. Bar and restaurant was nice, live blackjack was fun. Whole building in desperate need of updating. They pumped sort of scent into the room halls that was very strong and unpleasant.

Hotel itself is very dated. Tv remote did not work but staff came right away and helped us get tv working. It meant having 2 remotes, 1 to change channels and 1 to control column. Pool was not at all what was pictured when we booked the place. We booked due to the pool area having a kiddie pool, water slide and obstacle course in the pool. Upon arrival we found that the pool area had just been remodeled and the kiddie area was completely gone as was the obstacle course. The hot tub had been filled in completely except a few inches from the top and filled with water to make a very small, shallow kiddie pool. It was very disappointing. Yes, the new water slide was nice, but only 1 of the 3 kids we were traveling with could use it, the others were left to a tiny round wading pool with no toys or form of entertainment. Had we known the pool was changed we would have stayed at a better, more modern hotel with just a pool. Breakfast was available, but only choice was to pay $16 per adult and $8 per child for a buffet style breakfast. Too pricey for kids and adults that eat very light. If you miss the 70’s and are looking for a hotel with friendly and helpful staff, then this is the place for you.

We stayed in 245 for 5 days/6 nights. The staff are amazing but the room was definitely not what we expected. There was no microwave but it had a refrigerator and a lot of counter space. The AC unit was LOUD so much to the point that you have to turn the TV up to about 28-30 to be able to hear it. The TV only had about 6 channels that would actually come up although a lot of other channels were listed. When you turned up (or down) the volume then the TV would "talk" to you and tell you the volume that you were changing it to. There was also the menu box on the screen that we could never get to go away. The pool was great for the kids but the heater wasn't working (no fault of the hotel) but on Wednesday night/Thursday morning at 1:01 am the fire alarm went off because they thought that there might have been a gas leak. At 1:33 am we got to go back into the building. We had a room that overlooked the pool and you can hear everyone that is at the pool. Breakfast was not included with our stay. This was my own fault for not paying attention to the surcharge for breakfast. The location was very convenient as it is near several restaurants and Walmart. Overall, we will probably pick a different hotel to stay at that is closer to our kids then at the Grand Williston.
