Days Inn by Wyndham Wilmington/Brandywine

The other surprise to me was the door to the room from the outside. It is hard to see in the pictures and not something that I expected. I am not a fan of this kinds of hotels at all so I was disappointed. The hotel is right across from Wilmington University campus. The 5 lane highways in both directions which made me think that it is a busy area but at the end of June it was quite ghostly. Pretty sketchy mall nearby and a better looking shopping center on the other side. Very few places to eat, nothing within walking distance. Breakfast at the hotel - drinks hot and cold, cereals, and bagels/muffins. All is kept cold and no hot options at all. Staff was efficient at check in and check out. They sent a text message shortly after check in to see if we needed anything. We stayed only one night so it worked out OK.

The motel was quieter than expected since it's on a major highway. The rooms were clean and everything worked. It appears to have been recently painted. This motel is good for a quick stay.

Floor was sticky

This place looked like a hotel room from the show COPS. It was smelly, looked like it was rented by the hour. The bedding at stanins on it. I. n not believe this was allowed in. This site to sell room. I grew up going to places like Days INN, but OMG I was there maybe 20 min before I packed my boys up and we went to another location. The front desk kid was great and very nice, but the building and rooms looked like a flop house

I had to be relocated to another room after I checked in because the initial room reeked of tobacco and weed. The second room was excellent, however.

Exceptional

The room was filthy and smelled like cigarettes. It was so filthy we got a different hotel and requested a refund. This is the kind of place you see in movies that rents rooms by the hour.

Nice to see ongoing improvements. Bathroom needs upgrades especially. Each time there I note better conditions

Very rude and no transparency. Housekeeping staff supervisor really know how to make people uncomfortable rude trashy and ghetto

Good location, close to Longwood Gardens. Friendly and welcoming staff. We greatly appreciated that they had a heater turned on, and it was nice and warm in the room at our arrival as we were soaking wet after spending the day in the rain at Longwood Gardens. Clean cozy room, spacious bathroom. Breakfast was decent. We are not big breakfast people anyway. Yogurt, a cup of coffee and a muffin was just enough. Squeaky beds

Dated and dirty. The hotel was not well maintained.

The desk staff was really great, and I had plenty of towels available.

The air conditioning unit appeared to be very old and was hard to regulate the temperature.

I kept my purse in the fridge because I was afraid a cockroach would crawl in. The staff was wonderful, but the hotel itself was not. Adjacent to a liquor store, a less than reputable crowd hangs around the parking lot at night. I do not recommend for even a mother-in-law

It's good place for overnight stay. It maintained well despite being an old facility.
