The Windrifter Resort

Our room was relatively clean, except for some areas with the bathroom and with the refrigerator. Overall, our stay was nice. It just needs a little more attention to detail with cleanliness.

I liked the ease of coming and going with our room having its own access to outside. It was pretty being surrounded by a golf course. It was nice having our own kitchen. We enjoyed the pool Pool area needs some updating would be my only suggestion.

Close to town center. No breakfast at all provided. Room was crowded. There was one double bed, too soft, and two pull out sofa/beds without any linens. This made for a very crowded room. Bathroom was tiny.

Nice, well -maintained property. Only there one night, but seems it would be great for longer stay, as well.

We knew the place was dated based on both pictures and reviews. However, the smell was a bit surprising and made the stay uncomfortable for us

The front desk clerk Adrian, was very helpful with the questions I had and gave great advice. The apartment was nice and was very comfortable for are stay.

The cleanliness was just spotless, the staff was incredibly sweet with my going in and out asking questions and I really appreciated that! The pool was perfect, the best way to relax after a long walking day! I would recommend the apartment rooms for any small trio/group the little kitchen is perfect for cooking any good meal with several options of pots and pans Honestly my only complaint is the lack of conditioner. Having a saltwater pool is sooo amazing but not being able to have a little conditioning after? It just would be so amazing if it could be added with the shampoo.

They have great balconies overlooking a pristine golf course, a enjoyable indoor pool and even if you stay in the main campus away from the lake you get access to parking and using their facilities right next to the lake, including free kayak usage, so overall is a superb deal. They also have passes for parking in the local beaches around the lake, so overall lovely stay, nice receptionists, friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Will return. it could be more clear what you get with "Lake view" price a bit higher, basically you get a much better location, in downtown next to all the shops and restaurants plus you are literally on the margins of the lake with kayak access. Had I known that was not just a matter of view but location the higher price for lake view would be a no brainer. That said I enjoyed the main campus quite a lot, its a great deal, price-wise and their indoor pool and view, plus we can drive and park in their lake facility. For the price don't expect anything very fancy or new which is fair given how reasonable it is.

The location was perfect as we could walk to shops and waterfront but did not have noise or traffic nearby. The room was very clean and front desk was helpful.
