Staybridge Suites Detroit Woodhaven by IHG

Had a 2 o'clock reservation which coming from PA was perfect except when I got there was told under no circumstances do they have a 2 o'clock check in so had to wait an extra 2 hours to check in only to find out they let a family member check 3 rooms for early check in at 2 . Not cool . It was the same staff member handling these reservations.

The rooms are always nice at this hotel. The staff. My power went out on July 3, 2026. I booked a room for the weekend. I completely understood that it was the holiday and other people's power was out. The staff that I called the morning of July 4 was RUDE. VERY RUDE. I did not get her name but she was African American and she worked the morning into the afternoon of July 4, 2026. There was no reason to be as nasty as she was. Everyone was stressed. The workers due to your hotel being at capacity and the patrons because the power was out in this area. Her attitude was completely unacceptable.

My overall stay was great.. I’m very picky about cleanliness, the bathroom tub should have been cleaner.. I always bring cleaning supplies to ensure my comfort of cleanliness, upon cleaning it was obvious that mopping and additional cleaning should have been done.. But from the naked eye it was clean. The staff was overall nice and friendly. I enjoyed the free happy hour, breakfast option and other amenities.. The hotel is aesthetically beautiful. I felt safe and that’s also very important.

What a beautiful hotel. The 1 bedroom suite was really clean. The breakfast area was restocked and neatly maintained as many guests were enjoying their morning meal. Definitely would stay there again.

Booked a room for my parents during a power outage. I appreciate the staff who did such a fantastic job under difficult circumstances. Vicki at the front desk was helpful and kind while holding a multitude of things and people together.

An excellent stay with clean room, helpful staff and decent breakfast. We would stay here again on any occasion to be in the area and highly recommend it to others staying in the area.
