The exterior design of the buildings. 1. There was a mouse or rat in the main bedroom. Considering that Hanta virus is an issue in Taiwan, I would say this is unacceptable for me. 2. The rooms appeared clean, however if you move the beds from their positions you could see a lot of dust, dead bugs and mold under the beds.

It was on the grounds of a huge imaculately-run national "living art" center in a highly natural setting, near the ocean. Next to aquaculture ponds. Filled with bird song. Spacious, spacious spacious. The room was like a small apartment... super easy to relax in. Stunning abundant relaxed quality breakfast. Counter staff were all about efficiency, not warmth or connection. I became overwhelmed.

Breakfast, location is within the National Centre for Traditional Arts so can go in and out of the complex freely, thoughtful touches from the hotel eg. insect repellent burner outside the rooms in the evenings, late checkout etc. Very accommodating with providing us with a baby bath and changing breakfast time.

It has everything a short getaway in Yilan needs. Just beside the cultural place makes it easy to spend a whole day there experiencing the traditional stuff. Totally in love with the vibe of the place and the unit with 2 rooms. Good size for family. Mosquitoes are quite a lot, so make sure you have the insect repellent.

Really good hotel, the rooms are nice and the breakfast was amazing. The grounds on the hotel are pleasant for a walk but also contain a really nice setting. There is a lounge with free coffee and tea and cookies, and in the room you are supplied with drinks and snacks as well. For kids is a nice themed room. The staff is very polite. There was no laundry service. But that's just a small thing.
