The owner od this hotel is truly the best person alive by any metric imaginable. Great guy, always smiling and ready to help with or answer any questions. People like him are the absolute highest level of being an ambasador of his country and should be considered for the president in the next election. Truly, I have never experienced a higher degree of competence whilst traveling through many countries. The room itself was very nice as well! Clean and matching the pictures, with a wonderful view. Also really close to every tourist atraction around. It was too short :(

The staff were very helpful in giving us recommendations for things to do and places to eat. The location is very convenient, just outside a subway stop and short walking distance to hongyadong and jiefangbei. Also, the view from the terrace is spectacular! I would highly recommend this hotel :)

The staff (I met a slightly older and slightly younger guy) were very friendly, and also spoke reasonably good English. The location was good - more or less in Chongqing downtown, and right on top of two subway lines. Very affordable. There's a view of the river from the terrace. My data signal (Nihao Mobile) wasn't particularly good here, and the Wifi provided wasn't very good. You can't put toilet paper in the toilet (but there is a bidet, so this is not a big deal). A couple of edges around the underside of the bed are slightly rough, and there's a narrow channel beside the bed, so it's possible you scrape yourself a little. Also, when you get to the 30th floor, there's an open window from about waist height - I was a bit scared if you were looked out and were very unlucky and slipped, there'd be a (very small) chance of falling...

Perfect location, right at the cable car station, perfect view, cute balcony and nice terrace, especially at night. The staff is super friendly and made sure everything went smoothly.

The hotel was very clean and quiet. The staff gave excellent recommendations for food. It felt like an oasis from the busy streets of Chongquin.

We’ve traveled to every continent and visited countless cities but this host is the absolute best. He was in touch as soon as we booked, catered for our every need and more (he asked questions to unveil needs we didn’t know we could have and provided solutions). He was so helpful and went out of his way to make sure we’d enjoy our short stay in the city, recommended the right places for the right meal/activity and even walked us to a specific spot in our first day. The room was incredibly cozy, clean and comfortable. The view from the balcony was perfect and we are forever grateful to this man for making our first stay in china one of our most memorable. We will absolutely come back! Just a heads up that there is a small flight of stairs to get to the hotel floor. Feasible in case of heavy luggage but bear in mind in case of disability.

Amazing location right in the city centre. The best part is definitely the amazing staff who were extremely nice and helpful, fluent in english. Our room also had a great view. Rooms were not very clean. We initially booked the cheapest room, but it turned out to be extremely tiny and had no windows, we had to upgrade to the room with terrace, so probably could have gotten an overall nicer hotel for the price. Overall expected a bit more due to good reviews

I like that it was quiet at night. The balcony views were fantastic. The owner and staff were very helpful and cheerful. The owner spoke English. The location is really close to the train station and in walking distance to a few of the attractions. It's also a central location if you want to do day trips, such as Ciqikou and Laojundong. I also like the bidet toilet that had warm seats which are very nice in the winter! I would want to stay here again when I come back! The only minor complaint is that the area just outside the shower is narrow. I'm not sure about other bathroom arrangements.
