A little far from lobby to the room.

We were on the first floor of the hotel so there's no view just looking at the side yard from the window. We would smell cigarette smoke coming from nearby our room so we weren't sure if it's the wind blowing the smoke into the building and coming through that way or people/staff smoking in the lobby area (we were on the ground floor and seems like there's a passageway where staff move through right across from our room.) We also heard conversations occurring around 11pm right outside our room (there was a sitting area just outside beside our room) and I didn't like that. My kids did not like the pool and facility at this hotel in comparison to other pool&facilities in China. The steam room had a mold-like smell but it was not operating at the time we were there.

The Westin Xi’an is perfectly located if you want to experience the famous Sleepless City and enjoy the local food scene! The large shopping mall, The Joy City, is right opposite the hotel, and there are plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby, making it extremely convenient for dining. Transportation is also easy, with buses and DiDi readily available to explore other nearby tourist attractions. The hotel itself is modern, comfortable, and well-maintained, with spacious rooms and plush beds that ensure a good night’s sleep. The staff were friendly and attentive, providing excellent service throughout our stay. Even though breakfast was not included, the spread was outstanding, with a wide variety of high-quality options that made it worth every penny. Overall, the Westin Xi’an offers a great combination of comfort, convenience, and access to Xi’an’s top sights and dining experiences. Highly recommended for both tourists and families. During our stay, we noticed a discrepancy with the booking offer. The hotel promotion promised two complimentary beers, but when we checked in, the staff were not aware of this deal. While we didn’t pursue it further as my father preferred not to drink much, it would be ideal for the hotel to honour such offers as advertised. Clearer communication on this would enhance guest satisfaction. Additionally, we stayed in the Westin apartment rather than the main hotel. While the apartment itself was spacious and comfortable, it was located some distance from the main hotel lobby. This made walking to and from the main hotel quite inconvenient, especially for elderly guests. Staying in the main hotel would have provided easier access to hotel facilities and services. On a positive note, the Westin apartment offered modern, clean, and well-equipped rooms. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were spotless, and the overall ambience was quiet and relaxing. The location was still convenient, with shopping, cafes, and local attractions within easy reach, making it suitable for families or groups who don’t mind the short walk. Overall, the stay was pleasant, but attention to booking promotions and proximity to the main hotel facilities would significantly improve the guest experience.

This is a beautiful hotel in a great location, right across the street from the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda. The rooms are well-appointed, beds comfortable, bathroom and shower very large, and the staff is very helpful and friendly. Nothing

The location was excellent and the facilities were very good. The suite we were in was a little tires and in need of some maintenance.

Great hotel; brilliant location, great breakfast and the biggest bed we’ve ever slept in. Only downside was the gym, which is tired, small and stuffy.

Excellent location with shopping opposite and cultural sights like the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda and Datang Everbright City just at the door steps. Lots of food choices all around. Facilities looked aged, time to spruce up a little.

just next to the night street. very convenient. excellent location. the room surprises me with the infamous chinese literatures. red chamber etc I booked a suite through booking.com for 5 nights which should be over 900 sq ft at club level according to room description. . However, they gave me a suite at gf which is very noisy. I asked for a change. Then to my disappointment, I was given a suite at club level but of a much smaller size. Also, our mugs were not cleaned every day at all. Running out of conditioner on the fourth night. Housekeeping does not match up to other Marriott chain hotel.

Our room is too far away from the elevator.

THE HOTEL WAS IN AN IDEAL LOCATION AND IN SUCH AN INTERESTING AREA. A GREAT ROOM AND WE ENJOYED THE BUFFET STYLE FOOD AREA. THE STAFF WERE EXTREMELY HELPFUL AND SPOKE VERY GOOD ENGLISH. NOTHING WE DISLIKED AT ALL!

This Westin hotel seems to be renovated from an old one: a success since all work, especially its air condition, the best/most silent and efficient one I've rarely had! The hotel is horizental so quite a walk to gain my room but OK. Therer are 2 regrets: 1) My VISA card didn't work on their payment terminals. Further more it said that my card was suspicious which didn't please me (it worked everywhere and I've more than enough money...) 2) Most of reception ladies are pretty but they are not ALL kind/smiling (each of my question seemed to bother each of these pretty reception ladies). Only 1 lady less pretty wearing glasses and their director were professional and nice.
